Cathrin Hotel

Excellent, would recommend & stay again but maybe hire a car to get out & about next time.

Pros: For a small 3 star hotel the food exceeded my expectations, not a vast choice but always something tasty & good quality to eat. All staff super friendly & helpful. Pool is huge & lovely, volleyball & water polo organised daily. Three beaches with snack bars & scuba diving within a 10-15 minute walk are all lovely & hotel shuttle available but we did not use. Bus service to Rhodes town picks up & drops at the hotel door is excellent. Greek night with food & entertainment was superb. Evening music stops at 11pm so always got a good night sleep.

Cons: Nowhere to walk to at night if you like a stroll after dinner. Not a lot going on in the evening except music being played & the odd game of bingo but totally acceptable for size & rating of hotel.

Pros: I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was just perfect – clean rooms, great facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere. But what really made it special was the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and always smiling. They truly made me feel welcome and taken care of. Big thanks to the whole team for making my stay so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends!

Pros: I would like to praise the legendary manager Yannis! He made my family feel like we had the whole hotel at our disposal. This person is like an octopus, knows how to be everywhere and in every corner at the same time, works around the clock and always with energy and a smile! Organized a birthday cake for my mother while recruiting the team for the celebrations, took care of the adapter for the computer charger for me, organized fireworks over a drink from the bar and was attentive to everything. I haven't met such a professional and kind-hearted person in a long time! In the dining room, the waiter with the ponytail and the young girl with short hair and glasses should be praised, they are amazing in their service! Unfortunately I did not remember the names. The service of the manager Yanis made our experience unforgettable! Thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!

Cons: The noise of the flying insects on the island is a bit deafening, but it's something you get used to and has nothing to do with the hotel.

Friendly staff, nice room, lovely place would recommend.

Pros: The female animators Kristina and Alice were so friendly and the receptionist Zophia was so helpful especially when we needed taxis arranging etc. The bed was really comfy and the aircon worked well, I am a fussy eater and although there was some food I didn’t fancy there was always something I could eat. The drink cocktail options on offer changed every day but most of the time there was a nice one. The bar staff at the evening bar Michalis (sorry we were not sure how to spell) and Niko were so lovely, as well as very funny and always made drinks quickly.

Cons: I didn’t like that Junero the animator followed us around for most of the time and wouldn’t really leave us alone. The male receptionist at night kept screaming at guests we saw him do it four times whilst there. Could do with a few more sunbeds as if you didn’t put your towel down really early you absolutely could not get one!

Pros: Great size room , with stunning sea view , air con was not great but kicks in eventually. The pool area is fantastic , food was pretty considering the size of the hotel , nice and clean everywhere.

Cons: Sunbeds are being reserved from 5.30am and not by the British People sneaking around in the dark I'm an early riser so sat on the balcony watching Animation team , the guy who is obviously the main man very disorganised, karaoke was badly done , has favourites no presentation skills, British not really catered for , kids disco , 90 German language, Same old songs from 15 years ago , I worked in Greece for 11 years in entertainment, Needs a revamp and organisation Drinks not great , are they watered down ??????? Beer ok 👍
