Port Royal Villas and Spa - Adults Only

Pros: The best part of the whole stay was the food - we had half board, breakfast and dinner were very rich, tasty, you will gain at least 3kg there in a week. Modern buildings, beautiful pools, enough beds. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Beautiful spa facility (entrance from the street).

Cons: Room layout - separate toilet, separate shower cubicle, sink with mirror in bedroom. Beach only average, beach service too. It is advisable to rent a car and try beaches elsewhere. Parking at the hotel on the street, in season there may not be enough places. Minimal animation program, there was nothing to do in the evening.

Very good

Pros: Beach and pools were excellent well maintened and very nice! Room layout very good and the private jacuzzi lovely!

Cons: Only improvements would be on the food which was not very varied or flavoursome and the prices of drinks in the hotel not great value so went out for dinner & drinks most days and evenings which was a shame as the hotel premises are really nice.

It was marvellous. It was our third vocation in this hotel and we intend to come again.

Pros: Very good location. Comfortable rooms. Very nice hotel territory.

Cons: Smoking on the terrace during breakfast and on the sun beds on the beach should be not permitted. These are public places and it disturbes non-smokers. There should be special allocated smoking places on the beach.

Pros: Good quality rooms and facilities. The staff are amazing and friendly in all areas of the resort, especially the reception team, the fitness coach, the pool bar staff and the restaurant staff and chefs.

Cons: The resort is about an hour from the airport. Luckily the resorts helpful reception staff can support you by arranging airport transportation.

Pros: The hotel was fantastic, the staff attended to everything, and the room's location with a sea view was breathtaking.

Cons: The hotel beverage prices are high, so consider the all-inclusive option if you plan to drink alcohol.

Our stay was perfect.

Pros: Wonderful hotel with great comfort, beautiful pools and excellent food. The staff are very kind and helpful. A special thanks to Pepi from the restaurant for his huge kindness and hospitality, he made our stay unforgettable.

Cons: We enjoyed everything about our stay. There are just two areas that could be improved. While the food was of good quality and variety, we missed having a grill station with more options, as after a few days the meals could feel a bit repetitive. Also, the music at the main pool was occasionally a little too loud.

Adults only accommodation in Kolymbia

Pros: Very nice modern and well kept facility spread in smaller buildings among pools with close path to the beach. Very good dining at the main restaurant in half board with a nice choice including a lot of fish and sea food as well as at another restaurant we went to for lunches. Friendly staff.

Cons: A strange policy of not allowing opening the beach umbrellas at the hotel part of the nice beach when in the public part on the same beach other umbrellas were OK open in the first two days which made us take rather the paid sun beds and umbrella for the rest of our stay. Being frequent visitors to Greek islands we haven´t take that this was because of mild wind which is in fact always present there. More over the hotel rather too huge sun beds are not practical for handling to move to find shadow. We were missing also any water shower in the beach area for washing feet from sand when leaving the beach, usual in other places we visit.

Premium hotel experience for adults

Pros: Premium hotel experience for adults. Friendly staff, very good facilities, tasty and healthy meals at the restaurant. Quiet location to relax and recharge. Nice clientele balance of younger and older couples.

Cons: The beach, although EU blue flag, was not at par with the hotel experience, unlike the pools. The area outside the hotel not as developed as other parts of Rhodes. Some meal options such as Asian or Mexican may not be suitable for the clientele.
