Pros: Location was great, close to bars, restaurants and the beach

Pros: A very nice hotel, three swimming pools, a cozy, beautiful, and clean room, delicious breakfasts, polite and pleasant staff. On the day of departure, they gave me a lovely gift. I had a great vacation! I really liked Rhodes.

Pros: The facilities were very nice, and overall I was satisfied with the all-inclusive service. I am very sensitive to cleanliness and was a little apprehensive considering it is a southern place, but they managed to surprise me. Unfortunately, I only read after the book that the hotel is divided into two main sections, and I assumed that we had been assigned to the rear garden section, which, according to reviews, is in poorer condition. I asked to change room and was willing to pay for it, but in the end they provided us with better accommodation at no extra charge (obviously the timing was right, as the hotel was no fully booked). I accidentally broke a glass in the room, but they didn't make a problem about it and handled everything very kindly.

Cons: We were traveling with a small child, and the playroom was not a good experience. It is open for only a short time, and the staff was unpleasant. When we went in, children left without their parents were sitting in front of a laptop watching cartoons. It was open until 5:30 p.m., so we went in at 4:50 p.m., thinking we had time, but then the lady came at 5:02 p.m. and told us to leave because it was closing time. Because she had to mop and tidy up by 5:30 p.m. and always did so. Obviously, this caused tears. The child would have liked the mini disco, but it was so loud that it disturbed her. The water in the pools was very cold, much colder than the sea itself, which meant that the child couldn't enjoy the children's pools, which was a big disappointment. When renting a car/motorcycle, the hotel's partner insisted that a 1-day rental was from morning to evening, not from morning to morning. I encountered this in several places on the island, but finally found a morning-to-morning option. When the clerk saw that I had found it elsewhere, he offered to let me rent from morning to morning the next time.

Short overnight stay in a nice place near the airport.

Pros: We arrrived in the evening and the room was very clean and had the two seperate beds we asked for in our booking. The breakfast was wide, with both Greek and continental dishes. The staff was very friendly.

Cons: Nothing bad to say about this hotel!

Agreable and comfortable stay

Pros: We had a great time. The main building of the resort was beautiful, clean and modern. I really would have loved if the clerk had upgraded my room to it, the whole stuff was very professional and friendly in every single detail. A great experience to repeat in the future maybe next summer and I recommend 100% this hotel.

Cons: The studio where we were upgraded looked a bit old, especially the bathroom. We also needed only a room with closet and bathroom as we didn’t need a kitchen as we eat all time in the restaurants. But maybe the price we paid didn’t give us the room we wished. Thus, in Thalassa restaurant, there were no coffee spoons, we had to ask for it every morning.

Great for families with kids

Pros: The location is superb with easy access to the beach. The family pool and kids pool were amazing. The staffs are super nice and helpful. The rooms had all the necessary amenities.

Cons: The room decor was a bit old and could be better.

Nice, but opportunities for improvement exist....

Pros: SunBeach resort is quite big area on the sea-coast in Ialyssos. We loved the facilities which were clean, food which was tasty and particularly staff we met on daily basis both in the dining areas or within the time of cleaning services. Anyway, some hesitations we have on mind, see bellow......

Cons: When I am on holiday I do not want to be involved into repairs of electricity in the building/room ApoloWing 257. First total colaps of electricity took some 10hours, than fridge did not work for some 6 hours. Also air-condition produced more noise than cold air. I don´t know from what reason the restaurant staff did not suply the guests with tea spoons automatically. You have to go to the specific place and ask particularly for the small spoons, or, you can use big soup-spoon to mix your espresso. This is inappropriate according to my opinion.

Pros: Well, I tend to be quite critical and often point out flaws. I had some fears prior to our arrival reading the comments. However, we had the best experience at the property. I have had chance to travel around the world, from China to Mexico, Russia, USA, all around Europe, but never felt so good as it was there. It was clean, the stuff was exceptional. We arrived with our 2-year-old son and i was pregnant (2nd trimester) and the hotel catered all our needs perfectly. Me and my son are on glutenfree diet and they prepared everything for us separately ensuring all diet criteria. Savvas ( the manager of the restaurant) was highly supportive and took into consideration all of our expectations. The food were very tasty, freshly made and various. I can just recommend the hotel for everyone, we are planning to return next year.

Cons: No negative experience, only good!
