Penélope Hotel

Pros: The owner was very nice, we talked to her on multiple nights. All the staff were friendly. There were good choices for breakfast and plenty of room every day to stay on the sunloungers by the pool. We had a very positive stay and would definitely book again :).

Island hoppers

Pros: A very clean and spacious studio, location good, pool area fantastic. We were lucky enough to have a bath and after travelling the islands for nearly 5 weeks that was great, that soak was the best feeling.

Cons: Our bed, classed as a double but the two mattresses didn't match so it felt a little odd. I think one was a bit older than the other. The prices in the restaurant were a little high, compared to local restaurants. Oh and beware the keys the were really awkward, it took some time to open the door.

Pros: The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Food cooked by Dora in the restaurant was excellent. Great view from the balcony over the Aegean Sea and room cleaned thoroughly daily. You can choose when your towels and bedding are changed to protect the environment. I had a towel change every couple of days and this worked for me. Lovely pool with the most plush sunbeds and no fighting over them, there appeared to be plenty for everyone.

Cons: There is no lift to the upper floors, I struggled with my heavy case and my asthma. If you do have mobility problems, you definitely need to ask for the ground floor. Parts of the grounds were a little unkempt and weedy which spoiled the general look of a very pretty hotel. I found the area a little quiet for me but there were some very good eateries and supermarkets a 10 minute walk away. Breakfast is very basic considering the price. Would have preferred more choice although everything fresh.

A lovely hotel with genuine staff and great facilities

Pros: The rooms and the facilities were so clean and well set up. The owner and the staff got to know us personally and were so kind and helpful with everything

Quiet comfort.

Pros: We just spent 1 night here before flying home. Its a lovely quiet place. The Apartment was a great size, clean and well equipped. We had a nice little balcony. The pool was lovely with some of the most comfortable loungers we came across.

Cons: We were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator. We struggled to get our cases up the stairs. When we were leaving however, a very nice staff member came to our assistance.

A Little Gem

Pros: Lovely spacious rooms, comfortable bed. Loved the pool sunbeds. The food in the bar/restaurant was excellent and the staff were absolutely lovely especially Odetta. We were allowed to check in early which was very much appreciated.

Cons: Bathrooms were in need of an update. A bit of a walk on the busy road to any bars/restaurants.

Clean, comfortable and very relaxing.

Pros: Very comfortable stay with a lovely pool area. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, including Mr T (small dog). Rooms are also cleaned every day to a high standard.

Cons: Nothing really, ticked all boxes.

Pros: From the moment I arrived, Penelope was one of the most welcoming hosts I've met on my travels. Warm, kind, helpful and very funny. All the staff were so helpful. The food was amazing. Pool was gorgeous. Can't recommend this hotel enough. Bus stop to Rhodes centre was only 5 mins walk. And the hotel itself was only 5 mins walk from other bars and restaurants. So safe for a solo traveller.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and delicious food.

Pros: Nice ladies - Odeta (bartender) and second lady on reception. Thanks for griet variety of alcohol and bar, pool. Odeta - made us nice coctails, reccomend to pder them from her. Other personal was polite. Air conditioning working well, bed was cosy. Swimming pool was good, really nice pool loungers. Location of hotel is good.

Cons: Breakfast was the same every day, with very little variety. The fried eggs were hard, the sausages were tasteless and always the same. There were not enough vegetables and fruits, and the selection of cold cuts for bread was very limited. There were almost no desserts, and the pancakes were dry. It would be nice to add more fresh salads, fruits, nuts, sauces, maybe hummus. Bad coffee at the breakfast (water with taste of coffee). Juice also only few % concentrate of juice. We also ordered a club sandwich at the restaurant — it was not well grilled and did not taste good. Conclusion - must be smth done with food in restaurant. Bathroom - the shower heads need to be descaled, the shower doors wheels in the shower cabin did not roll properly. Couple of light bulbs were not working. Hisense TV working really bad, no point to use it. Wi-FI was working 50/50.
