Pros: great little place they were very helpful when my mother needed some transport to get to the hotel and she was struggling in the heat to reach the hotel

Excellent location

Pros: The location is excellent for easy access to the main port area. The check in process was convenient and communication from property very good.

Cons: Bathroom is very small and the floor gets very slippery from water coming out in the shower.

Lovely location , lovely vibe but a lack of being able to communicate with on site staff due to language barriers.

Pros: Location, lovely outdoor area (go for room 12), lovely plants, lively colours. All was good.

Cons: Being very finicky the shower drenched the loo roll and didn’t drain away as quickly as it should. Being finicky as I said. And we were promised a late check out that didn’t materialise. All in all though highly recommended.

Great value very clean and nice size room and excellent location!

Pros: Fab location close to the port and the harbour shops and restaurants. Spotlessly clean and good size room. Nice touches with tea and coffee provided/making facilities. Air con, TV hairdryer and powerful shower with shampoo and soap etc. in the room. Lovely peaceful setting. With a little seating area outside the room. Only there for one night but very happy, we would visit again. Great value!

Pros: The property was great my only issue was that we were not told as we wanted and paid more for a sea view that the building straight outside our apartment balcony was getting upgraded the drilling and building work went from 7am until 3/4 in the afternoon and also the sea view was limited as there was scaffolding on the tower at the side preventing the real view see photos not a great sea view very disappointed.Please make sure people are told of this work thanks.

Pros: Very nice and clean room with beautiful surroundings and view. Around 200 meter from sea front and extra around 600 meters from arriving by sea port. As Google maps didn't work we had some difficulty to find the place. For new arrivals we suggest to walk almost to the end of of \

Cons: To answer above question about breakfast, It wasn't any , but tea and coffee bags (No milk). Of course had all kitchen utensils to prepare your breakfast. The room offered to us was the top one with many stairs to climb as well the double bed was located under a pitched roof and if you are not careful you knock your head on the wooden beams when you try to raise from bed. Also the wooden staircase leading to double bed, had very high steps. Recommend to old people to request a room at a lower floor.

Pros: Location was very good, the outdoor sitting area was also quite nice. Room was clean.

Cons: The showers need some love and care.

Pros: The location was brilliant and just a few minutes from the shops and taxi boats but far enough that it was quiet and peaceful. The outside space and the plants ( and cats) was very relaxing

Quirky appartment/studio building a few minutes walk from the harbour but not up the Symi steps.

Pros: Quirky little studio building at the back of the town, fortunately on a level with the port so no steep steps to climb. It is in a residential area and next to a school. The studios are a decent size and have kitchen areas. There are no individual balconies but plenty of outside space with sunbeds, tables and chairs and even hammocks. Great place to relax. It is colourfully decorated with interesting objetcs and plants. The two women who do the cleaning and generally look after the place were very friendly and helpful. Easy walk from the waterfront in the centre of the U-shaped bay so well located for shops, bars and restarants as well as the bus stop and ferry docking areas (apart from the big ferries which dock 20 minutes walk away).

Cons: When I arrived I found that I had been allocated a four-bedded apartment which was a semi-basement. That wasn't an issue in itself but the two \

8.5/10 – Charming & Central, Just Mind the Shower!

Pros: We loved Garden Studios’ perfect location (couple of mins from the harbor, yet quiet and relaxing.) and its authentic charm—wooden ceilings, a kitchenette, and a balcony with *postcard-worthy views*. The hosts were friendly and helpful when we met them, and the courtyard sunbeds were a lovely touch.

Cons: Two small downsides: 1. Bathroom flooding: The shower’s old-style setup meant water spilled everywhere—pack flip-flops! 2. Check-in hiccup: Arriving late, we struggled to reach the host initially. *Tip: Confirm arrival plans in advance.* Despite these quirks, it’s great value for Symi. We’d stay again!
