Beautiful place - wonderful people!

Pros: The staff - everyone was amazing and so happy to help with anything we needed. The food in the little restaurant was fantastic - Zenni is a great chef and his grilled sea bass was some of the best I have tasted. The location!

Cons: We realised we should have taken one of the larger suites since ours was a little on the small side

Secluded location, premium suites and services

Pros: Amazing property & location, right in front of a beach. Peaceful, private, secluded, premium. Perfect spot for relaxation. The suites are very clean and well equiped, and loved the fruits on arrival. Staff are very generous, Greek hospitality at its best. The cafe/resto just below offers great and healthy breakfast and food all day. We particularly loved all our dinners there made by chef Zenis, very tasty food and he really took care of us and our toddler’s needs. It felt like having a private chef!

Cons: Parking and transport is difficult but honestly, this is what makes this place peaceful, less crowded and secluded. Parking is 5 mins away (do rent a small car) from the property (they help with luggage). There is a great taxi boat to Symi town - it would be great if it would run also during lunch and dinner times. Stairs involved but it was fine for us with a toddler. Minor couple of things to improve in both our suites: - Security light on top of the windows in the bedroom was disrupting our sleep as it was very bright. We were covering it with clothes. - Tv & remote was not functioning properly, after a while the remote was not working and we couldnt change channels or do anything.

Cons: It was quite expensive. Everything was done to a high standard - just a bit on the expensive side.

Pros: The high quality as a package, scenery is unreal. Everything in the suite is in high quality, bed, shower, tv, view ect..

Cons: Some steps to get to the suite

Pros: Very clean with very nice view,beautiful rooms,small quite and beautiful beach right in front of the property.The best and most important thing about the hotel were the people. Warm,kind,helpful people,that make you feel extremely welcome. We will definitely go again.

A piece of heaven in Mediterranean sea

Pros: Amazing location, extremely helpful staff, the room and the amenities were great. The cafe located in the entrance has a good selection of food and beverages. The best part about our stay was we rented a motorbike that allowed us to travel around the island and visit amazing places (recommended by the staff). They even arranged transportation for our arrival and departure. The sea is like a swimming pool, very serene and clear. We will definitely come back!

Pros: Amalthea is a wonderful place to stay if you want a quiet vacation. The room was very nice with a lot of details and a nice view. And the owner and staff did everything to make the stay perfect. We would love to come back.
