Villa Elion

Perfect house in a perfect location

Pros: Villa Elion was perfect! For a start we couldn't believe all the breakfast supplies in the fridge! Eggs, bread, juice, milk,cheese & ham, cereal jam, butter it was amazing! Its such a comfortable house with a fantastic rooftop terrace that has views over Symi harbour. Its a very quiet location just far enough back from the bustling harbour but right in the middle of the town. A washing machine which is so handy after you've been travelling a while and also a dishwasher. The house has absolutely everything supplied you could possibly need for a perfect holiday in Symi. Its also spotlessly clean!

Cons: That I couldn't stay longer.

Pros: Villa Elion is a traditional apartment centrally located in Gailos but back enough so as not to be noisy at night. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels. Andreas is easy to reach if you have any questions, and his mum kindly picked us up from the ferry when we arrived. There was a lot of food left for us, and there are all sorts of bits and pieces to use like snorkels and beach mats. The view from the upstairs terrace is amazing and there is a good amount of space up there.

Cons: The decor is quite quirky but that's purely about our taste and it didn't detract from the comfort or amenities in the apartment. It should be noted that there is a metal spiral staircase up to the roof terrace, which wouldn't suit everyone.

Pros: What a wonderful 4 days we had at Villa Elion. Collected from, and returned to the port by Andrea's mum Ellisea who was so friendly and helpful. Fabulous Villa, fridge stocked with food for breakfast, well equipped and so many extras to make our stay comfortable. Spotlessly clean, balconies front and back and lovely roof terrace with seaview and deck chairs for afternoon siesta!! Short walk to bars, restaurants and supermarket. Eat at To Spitiko and Marakalis, drink at Alegrito and Elphida. Take a boat trip around the island and lunch on Seskli with Poseidon, water taxi to St Nikolas beach and Agia Marina. Would happily return! 😊

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Home away from home

Pros: Andreas and mother were the perfect hosts! Hospitality was perfect, gave us great recommendations & tips prior to arriving and picked us up from the port/dropped us back! This was really appreciated and a lovely part to our stay. The house was super clean; beds comfy and SO many amenities which was a nice touch. Beach mats, beach towels, snorkels, rock shoes, beach ball, hair dryer, straighteners. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast with juice, water, biscuits, meats, cheeses, eggs, cereal etc there was more than enough! There are two balconies and a rooftop with amazing views in the heart of symi. Perfect location a few steps away is a super market, restaurants, bus stop. Overall we would 100% come back and appreciated all the little touches. Best value for money and great hosts. We wish we were there longer! Thank you again x

Cons: Everything was perfect, only note is on the pictures the rooftop had a few more chairs for the table, there were 3 chairs when we stayed.

Pros: Perfect location, fabulous hosts, everything you needed supplied in the apartment, picked up from the Port, great roof terrace 👍

Cons: Bed was very hard and shower over bath was difficult to use as it was fixed to wall at waist height.

Homely stay in an amazing location

Pros: The apartment was lovely and homely, super well stocked with everything you could need for your stay including drinks and breakfast things left for us in the fridge. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes walk from the port and easy access to the town, the beach, local restaurants and bars, the bus stop etc. The roof terrace is an amazing feature with views over Symi town and port, out into the sea and to the mountains behind. The host is really friendly and helpful, we would definitely stay again

Pros: A beautiful apartment with a stunning rooftop terrace and balconies on both sides! Perfect location. We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Andreas and his mother were so helpful and welcoming. We'd definitely recommend it

Pros: Excellent place to stay. A very short easy walk to the harbour with a plentiful variation of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops. Met at the ferry by the host’s Mother who was so helpful. Could not fault the accommodation especially the roof garden/ patio with views across the harbour and surrounding countryside. Excellent………
