Great short break

Pros: Great location outside of the hustle and bustle of the main town, but close enough to go and experience the island by car.

Cons: The blinds in the bedroom didn’t block out the morning sun.

Great family destination with kind and attentive staff

Pros: I was travelling with my family (the grandmother) and thought the resort offered everything we all needed. The food, staff and setting were all perfect. We had a fun and relaxing holiday. A great escape for families with mixed ages. thanks, Wendy

Pros: We had a 5 night stay and we had a really good time. The staff were ALL incredible even though the hotel was getting ready to close down at the end of the season. We managed to change our original booking to two pool suites next to each other which meant our teenage kids had their own space too. Buffet was great for breakfast every day and the two ala carte restaurants we booked were also very good for dinner.

Cons: The only frustration was that some of the restaurants and bars weren't open as it was the end of the season but they were still being promoted on the website and the tv screens around the complex. Not a big deal but would have been good to know in advance.

Pros: We have stayed here twice and each time was fantastic, the hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food here is best with a lot of variety. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Cons: Everything was great

Pros: The staff was generally nice, though not everyone was equally pleasant. The breakfast was quite basic — not rich or varied. Due to the open design of the room, there was very little privacy, and I think the unused space outside the room entrance could have been utilized better. The location is good overall, but not ideal for those who want to be close to the Old Town — it’s about an hour and a half drive away. The hotel itself is huge, with wide open areas and several swimming pools. However, the pool was not very clean, and the surrounding area was quite dirty — which is disappointing, especially for a 5-star hotel

Pros: This was one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at—beautiful, convenient, luxurious, yet warm and welcoming. I’m already planning to return next summer.

Excellent but...

Pros: Great infrastructure. Lovely building. Staff very helpful. Lots of space and options.

Cons: Buffet food was excellent but still a bit crowded. Rude guests. Loads of kids.

Our stay at Gennadi Grand Hotel was great from beginning to end, would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, large modern pool area, good variety of restaurants, peaceful - a great place for a relaxing holiday.

Cons: Nothing though a rental car is advisable as it is in a quiet area about 30 mins from Lindos

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, clean, fresh and couldn't fault it. Plenty of pools, loungers and a private beach. Staff were excellent friendly, welcoming and helpful. Service was excellent. Would definitely return.

Pros: We had an amazing stay at Gennadi Grand Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Every request we had was handled quickly and with a smile. The service throughout the hotel was excellent, professional, and always friendly. A special mention goes to Fanni at the reception, who was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful with everything we asked. She made our stay even more enjoyable with her warm attitude and constant smile.

Cons: The food needs improvement — the quality was really disappointing and took away a bit from the overall experience. Also, note that if you visit during cooler days, the indoor pool comes with an extra charge. And the hotel is located quite far from Rhodes Old Town, so it’s something to keep in mind when planning your trip.
