Lido Blue Villa

Sublime venue, we stayed as two families and would be back in a flash!

Pros: Angela was so kind and her communication ahead of our arrival was perfect. The property was AMAZING. Kids and grown-ups loved it and it was a joy to be there. Rooms were set up really well too. The outdoor seating and dining spaces were lovely, and everyone loved the hammock. The smaller jacuzzi was fab for the children because it was noticeably warmer than the main pool (which was chilly as expected in late October). The whole setup at Lido Blue was great. We love Pefkos so having somewhere to stay only a short drive from the centre was just what we wanted. Being walking distance to Coralli for lovely food and a couple of decent supermarkets was helpful and enjoyable! We’d definitely love to stay again!

Cons: Nothing to improve really. The only minor things were the smell in the bedroom that was off the living area. It had a faint drain smell that we weren’t able to get rid off. Angela advised to make sure we ran water through sink and shower - which we did. It wasn’t a major issue though. Also the sofa in the main area wasn’t hugely comfortable, but again, we managed fine and it wasn’t something that put us off. It was still a nice space to relax in.

Fabulous family holiday

Pros: Everything! The pool and terrace area is outstanding and exceptionally well maintained. Just perfect for the kids (and big kids). Stefano was brilliant with all pre-arrival communications and responses to our queries. Angela looked after us incredibly well from the moment we checked in to the minute we left.

All of the above did not spoil our fantastic holiday

Pros: No breakfast included. A little out of pefkos with a 1 year old too far to walk with no pavements.

Cons: The outside furniture needs replacing. Also the accommodation was not named on the outside which was a problem when taxis came to pick us up. We felt that if all the rooms were used there should be locks on all the bathroom doors. An extra set of keys would have been helpful. The property is not really child friendly with the steep steps to the bedrooms. The pool wasn’t as clean as it should have been too.

Pros: The location was gorgeous just like the advertising images. Every bedroom (and living room) had an airconditioner and blackout curtains. Doors to the garden open all the way so it is possible to connect the garden and the living room seamlessly. The pools were clean and working as expected. There were different places to sit in the garden so that it was possible to choose between the sun and shade almost all the time. The grass was very green (because it's fake).

Cons: Although the big picture is very nice you can probably notice a drop in build quality. The rooms have many marks from previous people living there. In our case, one sitting area was wet multiple days because it rained once but the pillows were made of foam that dried multiple days and left dirty drying marks on the covers afterwards. The not-closing-door problem described in a comment from two years ago still exists.
