Pros: The villa itself is lovely — relatively new, fully equipped, and in a great location. Unfortunately, it seems the owners don’t pay much attention to its maintenance or to their guests’ comfort. This became clear from a number of small issues that, taken together, spoiled the overall impression.

Cons: Cleanliness could definitely be improved: we found swimwear and snacks left by previous guests, croissants and dust under the bed, and dirty cutlery in the kitchen drawer. The walls were stained, some bathroom doors were damaged and could only be locked with a key, one TV didn’t work, and the iron (listed as available) was missing. Three of the five pool loungers were broken and never replaced, despite the owner’s promise. Water pressure was also a real problem — if several taps were used at the same time, there was almost no water. Although there were two coffee machines, not a single capsule was provided — not necessarily as a welcome gift, but at least as an example for buying the right ones in the supermarket. And cooking for five adults with only three tiny frying pans was quite inconvenient. That said, the villa itself has great potential, and if such details don’t bother you, it’s still a pleasant place to stay — we did enjoy our time there overall.

Spacious brand new villa with nice pool!

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Melilia villa. The villa was brand new, well designed, spacious and there was a nice private pool and barbecue area. The location between Prasanisi and Gennadi was perfect for us. Prasanisi beach is by far the best kite and windsurf spot of the island and the village of Gennadi has some nice restaurants and bars. We love to go back soon!

Pros: Sehr schöner Pool und Aussenbereich, sehr stilvoll und schönes Haus. Toller Ausblick, sehr sauber und tolle Küche.

Cons: Häufig war kein Wasser verfügbar. Vermutlich nicht dem Haus geschuldet aber eine Info wäre nett gewesen.

Die Villa ist eine gute wahl für einen ruhigen Urlaub am Pool und Meer.

Pros: Die Villa war sehr sauber, aufgeräumt und mit dem Meeresblick einfach nur gut! Auf dem großen Grundstück gibt es dazu noch einen super Pool und private Parkplätze für mehr als zwei Autos. Alle Schlafzimmer haben dazu individuelle Klimaanlagen, welche speziell für die warmen Tage sehr wichtig sind.

Cons: Die Lage ist generell ziemlich abgeschieden von allem. Das ist einerseits super, da man seine Ruhe hat, andererseits muss man für jede Kleinigkeit mit dem Auto fahren. Die Supermärkte in der Nähe sind ziemlich teuer, weshalb sich ein Besuch beim LIDL in der Hauptstadt von Rhodos definitiv lohnt. Außerdem ist es etwas schade, dass der Pool nur 1.2m Tief ist.
