Hotel Galaxias

Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel.

Pros: The room was clean and furnished well with a range of facilities including the bonus of having a safe to store valuables. The bathroom and shower were also very good. The bed was comfortable and the cleaners made sure the room was clean every day.

Cons: The curtains perhaps let in too much light at night but this is a minor negative.

A very pleasant stay on our first visit to Rhodes, thank you.

Pros: Staff were all very friendly and helpful The outdoor terrace / garden area was lovely and peaceful.

Cons: Balcony seating area was vey tight - but that was the way it was. The air conditioning generating unit was located overhead in the balcony area and poured warm air into the area - again, that’s how it was, but it was irritating.

Pros: Very nice atmosphere, clean hotel, very good breakfast, excellent service from a very friendly staff, ready at all times to help with everything! During my stay I happened to see Katia at the reception several times. So helpful even drawings routes. The information brochure about Rhodes given by the reception it was very helpful.

Cons: I wish there was a kettle in the room.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, clean and quiet room, digital TV with numerous channel options, good breakfast, and all that at a reasonable room rate.

Cons: The location, but this cannot be changed :)

Pros: Staff was friendly and attentive room was cleaned every day and our towels were changed every day and we had space and privacy in 1 room.

Cons: was little bit far from the Airport, we couldn’t eat in our room No Electric kettle in the room No mosquito net door when you open the door for fresh air. But the AC was working very good

Pros: It was very clean, staff was very friendly. They had very good tips for how to spend time in rhodes town and island. Everything was exceptional.

A Gem of a hotel

Pros: The hotel location was ideal. Approx 20 minutes walk to the Old Town and to Zephyros Strand beach. I initially booked a studio room but was offered Cosy room by Galaxias. Great suggestion and made my stay more comfortable. The room was a good size with plenty of storage. Small bathroom but suited me. Bed was extremely comfortable and I slept very well all during my stay. Room was cleaned everyday. Good air con and had no issues with it. Good breakfast provided with a good selection. On arrival I was allowed access to the room early so I could unpack and shower after my flight. Also given a very useful 8 page guide of what to see, where to eat, and local transportation. Superb customer service. I would like to give a special mention to all the staff. They were all very helpful, very polite and genuinely wanted to engage with the customers. The staff are a credit to the Galaxias hotel. I will be returning to this hotel for future holidays in Rhodes.

Lovely getaway

Cons: Shame the rooms didn't have facilities for making hot drinks. However, hot drinks are available from the bar and charged for. Rooms quite small but ok. No bath, just a shower. Breakfast was limited but enough choice to suit most people.
