Chateau Anax Luxury suites

Pros: Winter is quiet, but the historical spectacular was easy to access. No long lines. The hotel's hosts are friendly and work hard to make your stay the best it can be. Breakfast was exceptional. A home away from home.

Cons: In winter, no decent restaurants open in the old city. But the new town is bustling.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Chateau Anax very much!

Pros: The location was lovely - in the middle of old town Rhodes Room had everything we needed. They left a lovely bottle of wine which was kind. Staff were very helpful & polite!

Cons: Toilet seat very wobbly! Room was really small & it was hard to walk up the side of the bed. As we do not drink alcohol it would be nice if an alternative was left in the room.

Lovely, bright modern apartment in the heart of the old town

Pros: Lovely, modern property right in the heart of the old town. We stayed in the first floor room with a large private roof terrance. Really good communication with host. We were met outside the old town walls and taken on golf cart to the property, which was much appreciated as we had two fairly large suitcases.

Perfect Old Town Accommodation

Pros: This is the second time we have stayed here. Fotini, who lives there, and the team are very attentive and quick to respond should we need anything. The place is spotless and the towels are changed every day, they even inlcuded beach towels. The location is excellent.

Cons: If I could request anything, it would be as follows. We were in the upstairs apartment and it has a lovely terrace,with a sofa and table. It would be really nice to also have sun loungers. Upstairs would also benefit from a clothes line/airer for the beach towels to dry on.

Beautiful place, next to the best restaurant in Rhodes (Marco Polo)

Pros: Beautiful place owned by a very kind Greek lady. Location is super beautiful. The bed is amazing.

Cons: This is more a recommendation than a complain. If the check out is as 12:00, you should not send staff to clean at 10:00am, and then wait for an hour next to your door.

Beautiful place to stay

Pros: It is a beautiful place to stay, a handy location, but still manages to feel private and peaceful. Cleaning was amazing. The apartment is cleaned every day The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond. Nothing was too much trouble

Nice property, disappointing service.

Pros: Excellent facilities, spotlessly clean. Good air conditioning. Very good bed. Patio and furniture were also to our liking.

Cons: Too close to Mozaik Cockail bar which blasted music every night until 02:30am. Even with the doors and windows closed this noise could still be heard. Staff not helpful, advised that it was a 10minute walk from the ferry terminal, it wasn’t. No offer of a pick up from there when we arrived from Symi. Rep turned up at the property to give us info about the property in a golf type buggy. Also saw other tourists being transported to their hotels on the Rodos Transport golf type carts, why not us? A mature couple dragging luggage from the ferry port up through the town to Chateaux Anax in 30degree heat, not ideal. Also asked about keeping our luggage at the property until 3pm, after check out at 12. Advised to take luggage to another hotel for this! Some sort of joke? No, expected us to drag our luggage through the streets once again. Felt really pressured to leave the property at exactly 12 o’clock on checkout with the cleaners banging on the door at exactly 12. They didn’t seem keen on waiting an extra 5 minutes. Very disappointing indeed.

Great for short stay

Pros: Location was great. Decor good. Bedding good quality.

Cons: The bathroom gave little privacy and doors felt not fitted securely. Loo seat very loo.

Lovely hotel

Pros: The room was lovely, very clean and in a great location in the old town. Lots of nearby restaurants and walking distance from shops and historical attractions.
