Perfect, quiet location to explore Rhodes Town

Pros: We had a lovely stay at the Mitsis La Vita Hotel. The hotel was super clean and in a really lovely location — perfect for exploring the area. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was great, with plenty of options to choose from each morning, and overall we felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. We really appreciated how well kept and comfortable the hotel was. We’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well located place to stay.

Cons: The only downsides were that the pool was in the shade of the building, so it stayed quite cold, and the rooms were a little on the small side for a family.

Good but not excellent

Pros: Excellent location, room (we paid extra for the Seaview rooms and was definitely worth it) spotless, lovely friendly staff.

Cons: The breakfast is chaotic - no one to greet you and on day one you have no idea what to do.... had to find a table, get own cutlery and when we got food we arrived back to find our table was taken by other guests. Pool area very small and due to being October, a lot of the pool in shade.

Amazing, too short and very comfortable

Pros: Everything about the hotel was great! The staff were really nice and helpful, the service desk was open 24/7 (there was someone even during the night), the room was clean and comfortable. On top of that the location was ideal, walking distance from the medieval old town and maybe a 30 second walk to the beach. There are sunbeds and a parasol from the hotel for the beach, which was really nice as it is a rocky beach. The included breakfast was good as well, fresh food and many options. There’s also a chef who makes pancakes and eggs the way you like it. 10/10 recommend, would definitely come back here again!

Cons: The toilet and the sink are right next to each other, so our knees touched the sink every time we went on the toilet. Across the hotel they are building another Mitsis hotel, when you’re in your room you don’t notice or hear the construction but when you’re at the beach you’ll hear it. Personally we did not find it too disruptive as you’ll stop noticing it after a short while but please keep in mind the construction is still on going for at least a couple of years.

Great location and staff

Pros: Location was great and staff were very helpful. We had a slight hiccup at the start that was quickly fixed by the friendly team.

Cons: Location is great but the area is busy so sometimes can be noisy

Pros: Location was good, the woman who was making coffee at the bar was very polite and nice! But the woman who was making pancakes during breakfast very rude and unpleasant!

Cons: I wouldn’t take dinner, wasn’t tasty food

Pros: The location of the hotel is good, the dinner was quite diverse but the breakfast was not very good. The staff at breakfast and reception were very helpful.

Cons: I had purchased dinner before arriving at the hotel, and we discussed this upon arrival. When I went to dinner, the staff told me that drinks were charged. I hadn't heard of this before, so I was quite surprised and upset, to be honest.

A friendly, happy and comfortable holiday with a hotel that really cared for you.

Pros: All the hotel staff from front of house to those serving breakfast, working in the bar and cleaning rooms were unfailingly helpful, smiling and interested in your holiday experiences. The side-view sea room was a good size, spotlessly clean and had two sea views from the balcony - west across the strait to Turkey and east to the wider Med. Breakfasts were plentiful with varied choices of fruit, breads and pastries, cold meats and salads plus, of course, any number of cooked items from the buffet or the omelette chef. The hotel's location being only a 10 minute walk to the historic old town was ideal with any number of restaurants and bars nearby.

Cons: The one disappointment was the breakfast coffee - a modern bean to cup machine would enhance the breakfast experience from a 9/10 to a 10/10.

Pros: Excellent location with lots of restaurants around and a few places down the road to rent cars or bikes, friendly and helpful staff, best part of the stay was the cleanliness of the hotel; exceptional hygiene standards and cleanliness!

Cons: Pillows were a bit too soft, but thats a personal preference
