Pros: Was a good location close to the beach the town and the old town so easy to see everything. The site was close to the grocery store and the restaraunts had lots of selection

Cons: A bit noisy for my liking but it's not surprising given how close to everything it was I had mosquitoes in my room so had to get rid of them before I could sleep a bit annoying more then anything A decent breakfast but nothing really special I wish they would mix things up on the menu maybe different eggs scrambled and not so dry

Overall a decent stay in a good location

Pros: The location was good. The room was large and we liked having a balcony. I especially liked that the third bed was a proper single bed rather than a sofa bed. Bathrooms had been renovated. Breakfast was nice.

Cons: The room was quite dark, especially the little alcove where the single bed was. While the bathrooms had been renovated, there were lots of little things that hadn't been taken care of so overall, the room felt neglected. There was a floor lamp in the small room which had no lightbulbs in so it was useless. The bin in the bathroom was crumbling with rust at the bottom. The room seemed clean but the towels all had marks on them so they felt unclean even though they'd probably been washed. There are no fly screens so the room was full of mosquitoes which made our stay uncomfortable. These are tiny investments compared to what they must have paid for the bathrooms so they have the potential to make a big difference by taking care of these little items. Finally, if you are staying on a Saturday night and are planning to have a late morning on Sunday, bring ear plugs as the church is nextdoor and the bells start ringing just after 7am!

Great stay, friendly staff, good price

Pros: The kindest staff, good location, clean room, comfy beds. Breakfast was a bit limited, I was missing only some freshly cut fruit. Everything was great and I was feeling perfectly comfortable.

Pros: I enjoyed my stay at Santa Maria City Hotel. The room was clean and spacious. There was a great choice at breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideally located for the beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Would definitely stay here again

Pros: Everything was great! The breakfast was very good, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It’s a walking distance from the old town and from nice beaches. We loved our stay. Would 100% recommend.

Good address in a very central location.

Pros: The hotel and the room were above expectations. Central location, friendly and helpful lady at reception upon arrival. Very large room, divided into 2 areas (we were 3 people). Bathroom had a great shower. Breakfast was also very good, offering a variety of salty and sweet options.

Cons: The reason I am giving 8 out of 10 and not more is related to air conditioning. There was only 1 air conditioner in the room, “covering” the area with the double bed. In the other part of the room, with 2 single beds, it would have been too hot without opening the window. So there were mosquitos and lots of bites. On the balcony, the rack to hang clothes was very rusty and unusable - this needs to be replaced.
