We really enjoyed our stay.

Pros: Clean, nice food and friendly staff. It seamed recently painted as well.

Cons: The a la cart restaurant could have had better food.

Great pleace to relax

Pros: Overall very nice facility and nice beach. Food was good and staff was super nice.

Pros: The location is nice and you have lots of kids activities and nice beach. The food variety is nice. Rooms are quite nice and spacious. The staff was super accommodating and nice. “Private” beach with sunbeds. Big kids playground and nicely maintained.

Cons: If you have two kids and a stroller you will have to cover quite a distance from your room to the restaurant. We did not mind since we took it as a little exercise with our family. To get to the beach you have to cross a small road which is not super busy but still is a road. Most of the guests is german therefore all the extra activities are in german. For a 5* you would expect maybe some natural juices with meals not only the sweet sirup ones but still ok.

100% expectations met

Pros: We chose the hotel based on recommendations and it completely met our expectations. We used the adults only accommodation services. Private pool, beautiful sea view and the room was really beautiful. We will definitely come back again!!

Relaxing beach holiday

Pros: It had everything within the complex and it was right next to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: I have no negatives to share

Overall lovely stay

Pros: Great location close to Stegna beach and local bars/restaurants, nice complex, clean and nice facilities. Great breakfast selection and staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly Stephanie the booking manager and Niko the chef who went out of their way to cater for my food allergies. Good cocktails

Cons: Not enough sun lounger space by the adult pool, had to sit down by the kids pool. Sun loungers on the beach all taken by 10am and even going down later in afternoon couldn’t get one, we ended up having to pay at bar up road to have lounger for day on beach

Beautiful beach hotel

Pros: Porto Angeli is a beautiful Resort. Everything was very beautiful and well kept. We had a room within private pool, which was awesome and spotless clean. The room looked like I would expect in a five star hotel (while that might not apply to every room category). Like others said, it is a big campus, so you need to walk a bit, which didn’t bother us at all. There is an elevator so no need to „climb“ the hill, if you have a room on the upper part. The restaurant was nice with good, delicious food. It did get crowded at some times though. The beach is very lovely too. We always found a deck chair. They were equipped with big soft mattresses and nice looking umbrellas. The beach itself was mostly sandy (perfect for little kids). Dependent on wind and current there were stones scattered into the sand at some parts (so you may want to wear aqua shoes anyways).

Cons: Although all the staff was very nice, service at the reception needs to improve for a five star hotel. We had two requests which weren’t solved as pleased. At first I asked for another pillow. I was told room service would bring one, but nobody ever showed up (I didn’t ask a second time, as we solved the problem otherwise) We also requested a late check out, which was accepted, but was a bit chaotic. We had to change rooms for that (no problem). The change of keys/ rooms was delayed several times, even after we returned the key to our original room. When we finally got the key, the room still wasn’t ready. I needed to stop the cleaning lady to set up an extra bed(which we didn’t need). Obviously there was no communication that the room was just needed for a few more hours during the day. All of that would have been ok, if it was an complementary service, but since we had to pay for late check out, it should have worked out more smoothly.

It was really great family holiday.

Pros: It had great amenities for the kids, excellent food and very friendly staff.

Cons: One small thing was that we were with a baby and it was very noisy when there was a program in the amphitheater.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and location and to top it off we were in the adult only section with Beautiful view from our private pool..... the food was lovely aswell and there was a great variety of drinks and cocktails available. There was a power cut during our stay out of the hotel staffs control they did everything to make sure that they could still provide us great seven even if what was to offer was unexpectedly limited due to no electricity but it didn't effect the quality of our stay. All in all was a great stay and would recommend and stay again.

Amazing hotel in a fabulous location.

Pros: Great facilities, very clean. Great variety of food. Amazing location.

Cons: A couple of staff weren't so friendly. Many of the drinks are machine mixed and syrup based. Ants in the room 😭
