great location, great place to unwind
Pros: Location was beautiful a place just to relax and do nothing for a few days

Comfortable house on the beach with fantastic outdoor space
Pros: The location was amazing, right on the beach with a private jetty for loungers. The terrace of Villa Calme is a fantastic place to relax with amazing views of the Adriatic Sea and Turkish coastline. The house was well appointed with everything for a self catered stay and the house owners are on-hand to help if needed, incl home cooked food and taxi service. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival (by boat!) and our hosts presented us with a welcome Ouzo and snacks.
Cons: It’s a bit of a trek to the nearby town for supplies but it’s a nice walk and good to get some exercise. Off season the local taverna isn’t open.

A totally relaxing escape from the bustle of life in a stunning location

Magical location. Delicious food. Lovely hosts. Bring cash!
Pros: Superb location. Peaceful, beautiful and authentic. Very warm welcome. Punctual transfer. Delicious home cooked food.
Cons: Despite having made a booking for the two rooms in the property we were charged a supplement for a third person of €40 per night payable in cash. We enjoyed two lunches and a breakfast. These were delicious and to be recommended. It was expensive though and similarly priced to some of the more upscale restaurants in Symi town. A portion of meatballs for two was priced at €30 and a bottle of Greek wine was charged for at €34. I recommend looking at the winelist pricing before ordering. (We didn’t). The bathroom was spotlessly clean but perhaps a little rustic given eventual price of rooms with surcharge. It wasn’t clear from booking.com that the place is inaccessible by road and maybe it isn’t. The boat transfers were super fun but the cost would mount up during a longer stay.

Extraordinary spot for perfect -calm- holidays
Pros: What an exceptional, quiet place for everything: the setting right on the beach, the comfort of the beds, the equipment of the house for self-catering, the beautiful decoration and - last but not least- the fantastic hosts Mihalis and Fotini. We have spent very relaxing 4 days in their beautiful house and regretted so much to leave. We have tried a bit of Fotinis cuisine which was delicious. The area is very calm with crystal clear water just three steps away from the house. (The pictures don’t lie…) Two hundred meters further you will find a nice taverna (which we didn’t try), a snack bar and the stop of the taxi boats which serve other beaches and the port. Here, you can find all the supermarkets, restaurants and a very good PADI center. There is a nice walk over the hill to the port of about 30 min. with great views.
Cons: All was perfect, but maybe you could add some more basic spices to the kitchen.

Magical in every way.
Pros: The whole stay was exceptional. By far, the best experience i've ever had. The location was magical, right on a quiet, lovely beach, waking up to the sound of the sea. It was perfect. Meals are offered, and they are excellent. Best lemon and chicken we've ever had. The hosts made our stay - offering sage advice about the island, catering to our needs and just being super helpful! They were wonderful and nothing was too much. Every evening we had a glass of wine, watching the sun go down and every morning a lovely breakfast gazing out to sea! Just lovely, peaceful and relaxing. A great escape from city life!

Quiet, peaceful place right on the water.
Pros: The location was exactly what we were looking for. The veranda was comfortable and was mere feet from the water. We greatly enjoyed just relaxing by the water (which one can swim in as well). The bay was quiet and peaceful. The home-cooked meals were great. We were away from the hubbub of the main harbor, but it was only a 30 minute or so walk to get there. We wanted a quiet place right on the water and this fit the bill.

Pros: יחידת האירוח על הים מעוצבת בטוב טעם - כוללת חוף פרטי מושלם- גן עדן. חדר שינה עם מיטה נוחה ומזגן . מטבח מאובזר. אנחנו העדפנו להנות מהבישולים של המארחת- פוטיני- יש תפריט עשיר - האוכל היה מעולה, טרי ומגוון שהוכן במיוחד לנו. את הארוחות מגישים במרפסת עם נוף לים- מושלם!! במהלך היום המארחים- מיכאיליס ופוטיני-פינקו אותנו במאכלים ודאגו לכל פרט ופרט.מומלץ בחום לכל מי שמחפש שקט שלווה ופרטיות- באיזור קסום. חוויה מדהימה ומארחים קשובים ומושלמים. מחכים למחר- הזמנו סיור יומי בסירה של מיכאיליס שכולל ארוחה של השפית- פוטיני ( בעלת הבית). ומחכים לחופשה הבאה אצל מיכאיליס ופוטיני.
Cons: אהבנו הכול.

Situation exceptionnelle et service 5 étoiles
Pros: Dans le fond de la baie d’Emborios, cette petite maison de deux chambres très confortable et joliment décorée par ses propriétaires très méticuleux est un petit bijou dans un des sites les plus recherchés de Symi, très loin des touristes d’un jour qui encombrent le joli port en journée.
Cons: Ne pouvoir y rester que 3 nuits …

Un paraíso!
Pros: Como este lugar no deben quedar muchos en el mundo, un paraíso para los amantes de la natación, del mar, de la belleza y del descanso y la evasión del ruido y del ajetreo diarios, Villa Calma hace honor a su nombre. Además, Michalis y Fotini son unos excelentes anfitriones, atentos en todo momento y muy cercanos, nos deleitaron con una comida griega excelente, nos sentimos como en casa, en familia! Si vienes a Grecia no dejes de visitar este lugar!
