It felt like having a real home on vacation due to Mary’s hospitality

Pros: This Hotel has really surprised us in a very positive way. We spontaneously booked one night before we went to Rhodes and Mary (the owner) immediately made sure that we will have the best stay there. She helped us with getting around the island, finding the best restaurants and also she is the most welcoming and warm person I have ever meet when traveling. The room was very clean and it has been cleaned every day for us. The AC works perfectly. The pool area is calm and perfect for relaxing. We once had lunch at Sun Maris and it was delicious with generous portions. We will come back to Sun Maris whenever we visit Rhodes. A huge thank you to Mary who made this trip so special. ❤️

Cons: Small bathroom/shower but I can imagine that other rooms have bigger bathrooms, we booked the last room available

Pros: Mary was an incredible kind and welcoming host who clearly takes great pride in her business, which is evident in the immaculate cleanliness of the entire property - including the exceptionally clean apartments and the pristine swimming pool that feels like your own private oasis; the spacious apartments are beautifully maintained complete with balconies and all the essentials, and Mary offers fantastic advice on local attractions. While other guests praised her exceptional cooking, even though we didnt dine there ourselves. The location is ideal just a 5min walk from the main town. And coffee lovers will appreciate the excellent café next door \

Pros: Had a very pleasant stay at Sun Maris. Mary was a great host, very welcoming. The location is great; near the beach and local restaurants and has great transport links to places such as the Old Town and the Airport.

Pros: We usually stay at 5-star hotels, but we chose this one because of the amazing reviews—and it turned out to be the best decision! The owner, Mary, is absolutely wonderful: warm, helpful, and so friendly. It felt more like staying at a cozy home than a hotel. Everything was very clean and beautifully maintained. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, and the beach is just a short walk away. We would love to come back someday—hopefully we will! 🙂

Pros: Mary kindly greeted us on arrival and told us everything we needed to know about Rhodes and recommended loads of amazing places. She was always on hand to give us everything we needed. The property was super clean and location is fab, 100% recommend to anyone and we will be definately coming back

Relaxing stay in a central location

Pros: I contacted Mary before we arrived. She was very kind and flexible in everything. We arrived ahead of schedule, but that was no problem. We were given a map and lots of useful information about places to visit and recommended restaurants. The apartment is centrally located, yet quiet. A good base for exploring the sights. It has a super pool which we used a lot. The beach is within walking distance, supermarket nearby. Mary prepared us a delicious traditional lunch. <3 They cleaned the room daily and we thank them for that.

Amazing hotel!

Pros: We had the most awesome vacation in this hotel! So clean everywhere, great location, peaceful, nice pool and most importantly, lovely staff! We can’t thank the hotel owner Mary enough for everything that she did for us. We travelled with our boys, 5 and 8 years old, and Mary made them and us adults feel more than welcome. Such a warmhearted, lovely person, the heart of the hotel. Thank you Sun Maris, we will definitely come back!

Pros: Very clean, had everything we needed, was very quiet so was nice and relaxing, Mary was a great host!!

Pros: Hotel is very very clean. The location is great, close to the city and the beach, close to everything you need, 30m away from the bus station. Mary is a great hostess, helps with all the information, she made exploring the island so much easier. I highly recommend Sun Maris Hotel

Brilliant. We loved it.

Pros: Everything. Hotel incredibly clean. All public areas constantly cleaned. Apartments are spotless and have everything you need. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which had lots of space. Pool area and gardens lovely and again spotlessly clean even though we had a few large downpours of rain over our stay. Best bit about the place though is your host Mary. She owns and runs it and she never stops. She is the friendliest lady and so helpful with anything you need. We loved her and were so sad to leave after our 5 nights there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be returning someday.
