Fabulous view of beautiful Halki

Pros: The fabulous terrace , view and location. Very well equipped.

Cons: The sleeping area is very hot so it is necessary to use the air conditioning.

Pros: This is a wonderful position with a superb view and big terrace. Amalia (pronounced Amaleeya) met us from the Ferry and showed us around. She is very friendly and helpful. She also has a very nice restaurant on the front. The house was well provisioned in the typical Greek style.

Cons: We had a problem as the twice daily ferry from Kamiros Skala has stopped running. We had to stay in Rhodes for 4 days and we did get a reduction for the 10 days we had not 13, not the whole amount but helpful to cover the extra costs. Amalia's son in law, speaks very good english should you need to contact him. There was a slight problem with ants which is not unusual in hot countries. They do ask for cash to pay which Booking.com mentioned but I hadn't clocked. I'm not sure why as I would think the restaurant had a portable card reader, but just be aware

Nice place to stay

Pros: Location and facilities were perfect. Washing machine was a bonus.

Cons: The bedroom setup was not ideal. The bedroom ceiling is very low, so you have to stoop. We didn't use the wardrobes because they were in the lowest part of the bedroom, and you would have to be on your hands and knees. The bed is very creaky and noisy, just to get in and out. Another thing for future guests to note is the payment method. We were almost charged twice! We had already paid through booking.com but on arrival were told that we had not, so we had to provide screenshot of credit card statement and booking.com payment confirmation. This was quickly resolved but not a good start to our stay. After that, our stay was very good.

Villa with amazing view and good host

Pros: Very nice terrace with amazing view, the host Amalia was very friendly. She has a restaurant on the harbour, Kifi. The food was delecious. Very good location with a lot af privacy and close to the harbour, restaurants and shops and beaches. Airconditioning worked very well.

Cons: Small stairs to the bedroom and the toilet downstairs. But that is normal in this traditional house.

Pros: Excellent location, near to tavernas and shops. Extremely well equipped and maintained. Great terrace and view.

Impeccable pour quelques jours à Chalky

Pros: L’emplacement de la maison est idéal. La terrasse est top, mais heureusement que la maison voisine n’était pas occupée ! Et un parasol plus grand serait souhaitable. Literie neuve et confortable

Cons: - Le paiement en espèces à l’arrivée - Les échanges pas très simples du fait de la langue - Une décoration de mauvais goût

Pros: Lokaliteten, stor terrasse med flott utsikt, sjarmen ved å bo i et autentisk Chalkis hjem, atmosfæren ved å bo tett på dagliglivet på øyen. En trivelig og hjelpsom vert, Amalia, som i tillegg også driver Kifi restaurant ved havnen, med god mat og hyggelig service

Cons: Mislikte egentlig ikke noe, men badet kunne kanskje vært oppgradert litte grann.

Pros: Dobrá lokalita, krásny výhľad na more a celú dedinku
