Villa 56 Luxury apartments

Pros: The location was great. Only a 10-15 minute walk from the Old Town. Private pool was a real treat. Very well stocked small supermarket just a 2 minute walk away. Very good communication from the hosts.

Cons: WiFi could have been better. Footpaths in general in poor repair. Wasn't an issue for us but wouldn't be great for anyone with a buggy or wheelchair.

Excellent apartment in a convenient location.

Pros: The apartment is ideal for couples and is located a 15 min walk from the old town and restaurants and bars. The pool area is quiet and has enough sun beds for all guests. We stayed in apartment 4 which has a lovely small balcony for morning coffee and a sundowner.

Pros: The property was beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. Wine, water and snacks were generously provided on our arrival and there were plenty of extra towels and bedding available if needed. The outside areas and the pool were also well maintained with beautiful plants and shrubs all around. The pool area was very relaxing and again, spotlessly clean. The apartment was well situated, just a 12 minute walk into the Old Town. Kallia and Phillip are wonderful hosts. We didn’t require any assistance during our stay as everything was perfect. Kallia messaged us on arrival with her telephone number informing us that she was always available if required.

Cons: If I had one small complaint which is not related to the property is that the pavements in the area outside the old Town are in need of repair.

Ideal apartment with a private pool and everything we needed. Would stay again.

Pros: The private pool in apartment 1 was amazing as it got so much sun in the morning, so we could go for a quick dip and sunbathe before heading out for the day. Plus it had lots of furniture to sunbathe and sit comfortably, and other handy things like an ironing board and clothes horse. The owner left us a bottle of wine and some crisps and coffee to get us started, which was really nice. Meanwhile there were plenty of towels, and the two TVs were huge and had all the streaming services we could log into at night, plus the bed was comfy. The apartment was only a 10 minute walk into town, too. Best of all the owner let us have a late check out on our last day, which meant we could store our luggage and have a shower after the beach before leaving for a late evening flight.

Cons: The pool was a little bit old and marked at the bottom, but it was such a minor complaint and there was an automated pool cleaner there.

Pros: Private pool excellent. Location excellent. Neighbourhood quiet and safe. Supermarket close by. Pharmacy close by. Staff communication pre arrival excellent, however unable to comment further as unlike previous occupants we did not see anyone!

Cons: Lamp in lounge didn't work. Only one light over dining table worked so had to use extractor light. Blinds offer no privacy as you can see through them which means people in the property to the rear can look straight into the living room. Drive way for access to rear property is right alongside private pool which again compromised privacy, published photos show it screened with bamboo, however it was not screened during our stay and driveway is frequently used by three cars and pedestrians accessing the property. Please see photo. Shower lead gets in the way as it is attached to the side wall of the bath and hangs across, annoying when showering. Only one sun shade despite feedback from previous reviews as this not enough for a pool that is in full sun all day. Constant problem with ants by the front door. This feedback is intended to improve things for future holiday makers not to be overly critical just completely honest.

Cons: Couple of niggles but nothing that would put us off using again, could do with blinds in the bedroom and a shelf in the shower, otherwise great 👌we stayed in apt 5

Exceptional

Pros: Beautiful new apartment and private pool was divine, Probably best accommodation we have stayed in. Whilst not in “town” being amongst the residential area we found local gems, and bus to the beach. And it is only a short to both new and old town. Absolutely outstanding host and property.
