Midgard Suites (Medieval Town)

Great staff and comfort

Pros: Staff was super nice and the commodities were great.

Cons: A bit hard to access if you walk with a trolley.

Classy, comfortable and perfectly located in the old town

Pros: Stylish, beautifully renovated old building. Our suite had everything we needed, comfortable seating area and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast in the roof terrace is lovely, everything is freshly prepared including eggs, fruit and pastries. Jurgen is super efficient and helpful. The location is very quiet, and just 5 mins walk from the nearest gate or the busy part of the old town.

Cons: Coffee at breakfast was weak and not good quality. We had a Nespresso machine in the room so that helped.

Great way to end our honeymoon.

Pros: Jurgen was very helpful in booking us in and organising airport transfers. He was very accommodating and helped us out on our last day in Greece. The hotel was very stylish and quiet. Breakfast on the rooftop was a nice touch.

Cons: Walk from the port with bags is a slight challenge, however it is easier if you follow the instructions about transport. But you do get to see most of the old town.

A different experience staying in a modern room in the medieval city.

Pros: A great experience to stay in the medieval city, and enjoy delicious breakfast on the rooftop. Jürgen was an attentive host and drove me to the ferry. Easy to walk to the attractions of the city.

Cons: It was all as expected.

Pros: Absolutely stunning suite, clean & easily accessible. Jurgen, the host, was extremely kind & helpful. He contacted us with helpful information before we arrived at the property & gave us pointers about where to eat & drink! He even offered for us to contact him if we needed anything whilst in the town, even after checking out. So friendly!!!

Pros: Great location/ apartment with quirky touches within the old walls but short stroll to all the restaurants, shops etc. Very clean, great attentive staff. Breakfast on the roof terrace was superb!

Pros: Jurgen and Anila were perfect hosts. Nothing was to much trouble and the rooms exceptional, and wow Anila’s was fresh well prepared and contained enough food to satisfy us all day.

Cons: Clean, location amazing . I defy any other hotel in the old town to compare with views from their top terrace . A family run hotel with Jurgen as a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manager.

Old town but new to us

Pros: Great location in the old town, set back from the main busy streets but close to everything. Jurgen was really helpful, picked us up from the airport and had good recommendations to help us make the most of our time. Room was excellent, spacious and very comfortable

Pros: The location was perfect, easy access to the port, old town and busses. Jurgen was the perfect host, collected us from the airport, sent us restaurant and siteseeing options to explore. The apartment was lovely and the hot tub was a bonus! What a pleasure to stay at this property, thank you Jurgen for your hospitality, we appreciated it!

Great staff , great location , great stay

Pros: Jurgen the manager came to meet us at the old town gate late at night which was very helpful.Nothing was a problem for him and he replied timely to any requests and actioned them . Quite possibly the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time !
