Lindos Villa Petra with Acropolis View

Lindos very interesting Greek town with good beaches and stunning acropolis. Excellent dining.

Pros: Nice traditional house with lovely courtyards and good bathrooms.

Cons: Kitchen very hot, needed air conditioning.

Perfect villa for a perfect Lindos holiday

Pros: Absolutely beautiful villa and location - just what a holiday in Lindos should be like. Three outside areas were beautiful - the seating/lounging furniture was very well thought out and suited those of us who wanted to lay or sit. Beds were big and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Holiday company met us when we arrived in the early hours of the morning, questions and problems sorted promptly.

Cons: All wonderful - some beer glasses would have been nice. Parking two minute walk away - I think the villa details says free parking - this is not the case - €7 per day - not a problem but wasn't aware of this extra cost. We we able to pay for the whole week in advance which made life easier.

Pros: Location was brilliant, in an area that is chilled and very local, but near enough to all the fabulous restaurants and nightlife. The villa was a great size for 6 adults, full of character, and with lots of pretty outside spaces. Myrto who was our contact was lovely, we were delayed and arrived really late, but she met us with a smile, and she responded straight away whenever we had any questions.

Cons: We stayed late in the season and that may be why the villa felt a little bit tired - not many of the outside solar lights, of which there are many on the lovely terraces, worked. Having said that we advised the agency and a maintenance man visited really quickly. I think that a cleaner only visited once during the week and we were advised to dispose of our own rubbish, which wasn't a problem as waste bins were close by, but was a little bit surprising for such a high-spec property.

Pros: Amazing location, lovely terrace with views of the acropolis. The villa was excellent. We were there for a wedding and it was excellent location to walk down to St Paul's Bay. Also just a minute from the middle of the streets, bars and restaurants of Lindos.

Cons: If you were travelling with small children I would be worried about the steps and mezzanine parts of the villa.
