Best views in Symi

Pros: The proximity to the ferry from Rhodes was perfect, and it was an easy walk into the main area of Symi. The staff were very responsive and we were able to leave our bags before check-in. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we appreciated that there was a large bottle of cold water in the fridge, plus a complimentary bottle of wine and sunflower seed snacks. The view from the balcony is exceptional, especially at night when the town is lit up.

Cons: Nothing to do with the property, however they are currently doing some construction work at the harbour, so there are cement trucks and a lot of traffic in front of the apartment from 7am to 7pm.

Pros: We had a great stay, only a few minutes to walk to restaurants and shops. Beautiful view from the balcony, we loved the coziness of the apartment would definitely stay again, thank you Maria xx

Cons: The shower had to be hand held as it did not stay on the hook

Cons: A bit noisy due to the island traffic, but it is largely compensated by the sea view.

Cosy stay by the sea in Symi

Pros: It was a spacious deteached stone house by the sea. From the balcony you have a perfect view of the island. If you arrive at the island with a large ferry, it is just 3-4 minutes to walk to the house from that port. (Note that this port is not the main Gialos port) In Symi, in order to reach most of the hotels, you have to climb a number of steps since most streets are made of stairs, however for Petalo house you don’t need to take any steps. This is very advantageous if you have large luggages. The house is clean and has a very nice design. It provides you all the utensils as well as coffee machines and a microwave. It has airconditioner in all of the rooms.

Cons: The hotel is on the main street of the island so sometimes you can hear the noise from the road. In the house, the steps to the upstairs is a bit high, so you need to be very careful while taking those steps. Note that if you arrive at or depart from the Gialos port, which is next to the clock tower, then it takes around 20 minutes walk from the hotel since they are just at the opposite positions at the bay. (But since it is just a straight way by the marina, it is not a big problem. You just need to consider the time to catch your ferry)

Pros: Big living room creates lot of comfort for family… spectacular view of Symi … sitting in balcony during sun rise with your tea and coffee cretaes great relaxing start for the day.

Cons: Stairs of going up to second floor is a bit stiff and narrow…
