Winter Getaway

Pros: Staff was fantastic, Tsambika was exceptional helping us especially with local restaurants 😀 The room was big enough with comfortable bed and endless heat as we visited for the New Year. The whole New Year bash was well planned, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Cons: The area is so beautiful, with forests surrounding it. It would be nice to have some activities for guests but of course that could also be arranged by third parties 🥳

Hotel grand Budapest vibes

Pros: Great hotel with 90+ history. 5+ meter ceilings, red carpets, very old, but in good conditions. Big thanks to hotel staff, specially Mrs. Felicia for a warm welcome

Cons: Might not be the best option if You're traveling without a car

A unique hotel in beautiful surroundings that encapsulates the natural beauty of Rhodes.

Pros: We liked everything about Hotel Elafos. We couldn't have asked for a better place to round off our week long stay on the island. Felicia is the most warm, welcoming and kind host; the breakfasts are superb with a selection of toast and jams, pastries, ham and cheese and bread rolls, yogurt and fruit, fruit juice and a choice of either coffee or English breakfast tea! The room and whole building is a gem. We were so pleased that the period character and charm of the building has been retained throughout. There are lovely walks from the hotel - we hiked to Salakos and back which is really not that arduous and Salakos is a nice village with several pleasant tavernas. We didn't have any private transport and so it was important to find places to eat although Hotel Elafos has a good selection of lunch items and we were able to order a pizza for one of our evening meals.

Cons: We liked everything about Hotel Elafos.

An extraordinary and uniqe place on Rodos!

Pros: Owners opened the hotel for the night only for us - Even though there were complications with booking reservation, which was not visible for them. It was a unique experience because we arrived in between storms. Truly recommend walking on the top of the hill - 2min by car to the passage, on the left miraculous place for a sunrise on the right walking area with old paths. Hotel (from 1929) is during renovation, our had nice renewed bathroom and floor with stunning seashore view from a balcony. Very helpful and kind crew ( barman and concierge) greetings for them!

We added our experience in Elafos to our fond memories.

Pros: We stayed in Elafos, between August 29th and September 5th. The hotel's location allowed us to reach everywhere easily in our rented car. Thanks to the hotel's location, we discovered several nice places on our way to the beaches, which most tourists usually overlook. Around the hotel, there are several historical remains, not to mention that the hotel itself is a historical monument. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. We liked everything about the hotel. It's surrounded by the forest, offering a green landscape, fresh air, and a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea and the Anatolian coast. There is a playground for children and a lot of space to play games. Although it is dark and quiet at night around the hotel, we always felt safe and comfortable.

Cons: Everything was fine. I wish there were more investment in its sister hotel Elafina standing next to Elafos, but in ruins. Then the whole area would shine as a wonderful tourist facility offering many tourist attractions to their visitors.

Pros: The location is amazing, very quiet and relaxing. If you like nature and tranquility that's the right place. The staff is great, very kind and helpful. The lady that runs it is lovely and also very knowledgeable about the island so it's a good source of advices. The breakfast is generous and you won't be hungry after :) Rooms are spacious and clean. Yes the hotel is not modern but that's very clear in the description and doesn't affect the comfort at all. Staying at Elafos wasn't planned as we changed accommodation due to issues with the flat we rented, but we couldn't have been more happy than that, it really saved our holidays!

Restorative mountain retreat

Pros: Unique experience, outstanding location in the forest. Note that the interior in rooms is not new.

Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of the forest. Great view and quietness .

Cons: There is a very firm mattress. The hotel is located far from the other villages, and there is no possibility to order a supper

Pros: Very nice location and a fantastic building on the mountains. Perfect hideout from the busy beaches. Loved the staff as well!

Nice weekend away in the countryside

Pros: Hotel is located in peaceful surroundings where nice walks can be taken and there is room for children to play. Breakfast was very good, wide range of cereals and pastries to choose from. Room was spacious and clean and staff was very very friendly and helpful. Would come back again for a visit.

Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect for us.
