Evdokia Old Town Hotel

Fantastic stay in the old town center

Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, the people were kind and helpful, it's clearly a family business that put their heart and soul into the place. Highly recommend!

Pros: The hotel is located in the centre of the town.and in walking distance to most of the museums.Savass the owner is very helpful and a mine of information.The breakfast we had was the best we have had in any hotel all prepared by Savass.Take time to listen to Savass when he tells the history of the hotel and of places to visit.Highly recommend and will stay again next time on Rhodos.

Special people in a special place

Pros: Savvas and Evdokia run a beautifully restaurated hotel in the best location in the old town of Rhodos. Their attention to detail is incredible. The breakfast is an experience on its own. The omelette is perfect and all the ingredients, from cheeses to marmelade are homemade and local. The pita with honey and cinnamon tops it all off. Starting the day with this kind of breakfast and a nice conversation is a blessing. They take care of their guests, much more than you would expect. During my stay, they made sure I get the best experience possible and tried to help me wherever they could. When my flight was delayed several hours, Savvas allowed me to store my bag and stay in the hotel, he even offered to take me to the airport. You can't ask for better people than this.

Pros: Great location in the heart of the old town. Fascinating building with 700 layers of history. Everything works well. Great breakfast with local products, even better than our previous stays.

Pros: I have been coming to Rhodes for 3-4 years now and such is the high standard and excellence of this place that I never bother to look anywhere else.Savvas your host is as helpful as possible and will try to help you with any problems you may have during your stay in Rhodes, and the breakfast is to die for

Wonderful stay in a clean and comfortable hotel dating from Mediaeval times and with fantastic breakfast

Pros: The property has an incredible history - dating from Crusader times (1369) and Savvas is very happy to explain its history and various owners and renovations The location is great, in the heart of the Old Town but in a quiet back street My room was large and comfortable with everything I needed and a beautiful old fireplace and chimney in the corner Breakfast was fantastic - local produce, homemade jams, delicious omelette with spinach/courgettes, cheese, cold meats, salad, olives Savvas and Evdokia are wonder hosts, very helpful and informative Thank you!

Pros: It would be perfect except for checking-in experience. With no instruction from the hotel, we had to look for the hotel in the dark (taxi is not allowed to enter the old town and there was about 5 min walk if you don’t make any wrong turns). When we finally got to the hotel lobby on second floor, the light was dim and no one was there, even though I informed them about our arrival time in advance.

Pros: Excellent staff, amazing breakfast and perfect location in the middle of downtown

Cons: Beds are a bit on the hard side

Pros: L'emplacement dans le plein centre de la ville est parfait et la decoration de la salle commune très sympa. Ce que nous avons surtout apprécié a été la gentillesse de Savva, ses petits-déjeuners très bons et abondants, et le tour qu'il a fait pour nous.

Cons: Nous sommes allés en février et nous avons eu un peu froid, et la chambre était un peu défraîchie.
