Hotel Africa

Pros: For our short stay, the location was excellent - close to restaurants and cafes, not so far from the old town and easy to catch a taxi to the port. It was also pleasant to be able to walk by the sea and have a view of it.from our window.. The staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Pros: The hotel is situated close to the centre. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Mrs Katerina is a legend.

Cons: The shower was a bit small.

Pros: The hotel stuff is very friendly ,it was a nice and clean hotel .Breakfast was okay .It’s very close to the beach but a bit far to the old town .You have to waşk like 20 min ,The balcony was very big and had an amazing view .There should be some renovations in the bathroom,its a bit old fashioned but in general ı liked staying at Hotel Africa .

Great value for a short stay

Pros: We stayed there only one night and it was perfect. The location very convenient, there’s lots of great restaurants nearby, close to the beach and the old town is just a short walk away. Very kind and welcoming staff! And we were allowed to leave our bags before the check in and after the check out. The bus stop for the airport is just around the corner. Breakfast was good and delicious, although it did not seem to have big variety of options if you have some special dietary needs (wasn’t an issue for us, but might be for some people). Very clean room and bathroom too! Interior and furniture seem to be quite old-fashioned, but well kept and not broken or damaged, so that’s nice.

Cons: - there was some strange unpleasant smell in our room, not sure if it came from the AC or from some of the furniture.

Pros: The room, the view, the breakfast and staff were really nice. The air conditioner was included in the price and it was working well. The location is perfect.

Cons: The bed l was not too comfy because two single beds with different heights matresses were put together.

Great value, comfortable, lovely staff. I only have small negatives and would stay again.

Pros: The room was comfortable with bedside lights and a small balcony, the breakfast was okay and plentiful, the location is good (10 minutes walk into town). Stand out for me was the staff. I assume it was the receptionist and barman who own the hotel. They are lovely people - very welcoming and thankful for the business. I would definitely return when back in Rhodes.

Cons: I would like to see a shower tray and curtain that keeps the bathroom floor dry, although I am aware that this is rare in these parts. Fresh coffee at breakfast would be great rather than instant, and I would bake less croissants at a time and not put them in a food warmer to steam and go soggy.

Pros: Everything about the hotel is great! Where do I even begin. From a perfect location, professional, polite, kind staff, sea view rooms, cleanliness, cleaning and changing towels every day, lovely breakfast...you name it. They have it all. They even allowed us late checkout since the hotel wasn't fully booked. It's all available on foot. The beaches the Old Town, the bus stop to the airport, the restaurants . We fell in love in Rhodes even more because of this hotel. Thank you!

Comfy stay with excellent breakfast

Pros: Super friendly staff, excellent breakfast and comfortable beds

Cons: The smell in the bathroom.

Pros: The location was great, we went around the island, but I preferred the area where we stayed, so it was a good choice. The hotel staff was nice and they even upgraded our room to one with sea view. The breakfasts were decent and they cleaned the rooms every day.
