Monarco Executive Rooms

Pros: Excellent location, very clean, plenty of additional items eg bathrobes, fabulous body lotions/shampoos etc made from local produce, spacious, modern tv that we could stream to from our phones, fast wifi. Pricing was excellent.

Great all around would 100% return

Pros: For us the location was perfect. The space has been very well utilised. It had everything we needed except for a quilt.

Cons: No quilt to sleep under as I don’t like AC heating at night

Comfortable and modern rooms with good facilities in a good location but check in a bit frustrating.

Pros: Very comfortable and modern rooms. Well equipped rooms with mini fridge, coffee machine, robes, slippers and toiletries. Good location to walk to beach, nearby restaurants and the old town.

Cons: Check in process needs sorting out, seems to be a recurring issue. No information provided in advance and no reception desk, so had to phone when we arrived and wait for someone to let us in, took 15 minutes, they asked the housekeeper to let us in.

Pros: Practical location, center in walking distance, parking lots around available, comfortable room, everything we needed.

Cons: Bad isolation, we woke up in the middle of the night because of loud neighbors (they were reckless though; we didn’t care that there isn’t a reception, but it that situation it would have helped that someone „enforces“ the night‘s rest).

Overall, very comfortable, but wifi was the biggest flaw.

Pros: It is located very close to the center. Room was furnished well. The bed was comfortable. Everything looks brand new. Staff was helpful. We got response to our messages fast.

Cons: Because of its central location, it is a bit noisy at night. However, it will only affect you if you sleep light or have difficulties falling asleep. Internet didn’t work well for us. We had to reconnect plenty of times and it usually didn’t work efficiently. We checked in at around 20:30 and we were not informed about the key cards and there is no reception. Luckily, we have seen other people who stay on the same hotel and they informed us about the phone number to call. We got our key cards ready in a locker at the door.

Great location, clean but check in is a problem

Pros: Location. Cleanliness. New building new furnitures.

Cons: We didnt get the entrance/check in directions so we have waited at the street for a long time. By chance, Housekeeping lady came from outside and let us in. Besides, shower sink was broke, so bathroom floor became like a swimming pool. Again, the lady came and solved it.

Would stay here again.

Pros: Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Spotlessly clean.

Cons: The view from the rear rooms, derilict building. Management company not helpful, hung up my call enquiring about check in.
