Gorgeous traditional house on the water

Pros: Absolutely loved the house, the views, the location, the decor, the history. Felt almost like we were on a boat we were so close to the water! Spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony. Loved my pale pink bedroom and all the icons etc. Everything was perfect for us . Close to a little beach for swimming. Quieter part of town. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would definitely go back

Living in a museum!

Pros: Beautiful 19th century mansion with items from around 1900 to 1970. It feels like living in a museum! The location is lovely and oversees the port. Only few boats dock in front of the house, so one could swim literally in front of the house. Very close to famous Tholos restaurant and paradise beach. The hosts are great: we experienced a hygiene issue during our stay, but the hosts dealt with it in a very professional way.

Cons: If you arrive by the ro-ro ferry, please bear in mind that the walking distance to the house feels longer than it seems on maps: there is no pedestrian pavement and lots of cars disembark the ferry and create chaos and traffic.

Pros: The property is full of character with wonderful views in a great location.

Cons: While we were met and shown around the property by a lovely lady, more general printed material about how the house works would be very helpful.

Pros: Communication with the host was super quick with any queries. Also recommending excursions and the best beaches to travel to.

Unbelievable view mansion

Pros: The view from the balcony is unbelievable. Spacious 2 bedroom greek villa which reminded me of my grandparents home. Comfy beds, lots of space for a family. 2 toilets, so no arguments with the kids. A/c in one of the bedrooms and another in the lounge that covers the other room too.

Cons: The water pressure could be better, but on the islands its a bit hit and miss.

Absolutely top location and a wonderful, traditional old house

Pros: Maria was at the house waiting to hand over the keys. It was my second stay at this property so it felt like coming home! All very easy.

Cons: There seemed to be a problem with the booking.com messaging system which was a bit annoying because it did work last time and made it that much easier to communicate with the owner. However, I was able to contact her via email and she was very friendly and efficient in replying. So not really much of a negative and nothing to do with the property!

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory

Pros: Fantastic location right on the waterfront. It really felt like a family home and a traditional and beautifully presented space with modern bathroom and a lovely courtyard and a balcony to die for.

Cons: Our stay was sadly let down by the music and booming base coming through the floor from the bar directly beneath. While this was beyond our hosts control, there had clearly been issues before. We were perhaps unlucky to find ourselves staying on a Friday and Saturday evening at the end of their season, but we found the noise audible most afternoons and evenings. The hosts were very understanding, and we hope that this is an issue that will be sorted out in the future, as it left an unfortunate stain on what would have been a perfect stay :o(

Memorable and relaxing

Pros: Loved traditional decor and balcony onto harbour. Courtyard a lovely outdoor area.

Cons: Cocktail bar beneath which was rather noisy until late. Not a huge issue unless you’re a light sleeper.

Relaxed, easy & stunning views

Pros: The property was airy & in an amazing location! We had so much space and everything was clean and facilities easy to use. We would come back in a heartbeat

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The location was perfect, amazing balcony and garden area, well-equipped kitchen
