Casa Theano - Old Town

Cass Theano is a perfectly renovated 2 bed 2 bath apartment in great old town location with excellent host.

Pros: So much to love here! Great location- near enough to a gate, but away from the crowds, yet still an only short walk to anywhere within the walls. Tastefully renovated with a touch of style. Impeccably clean. Great beds. Fluffy towels (with extras provided). Beach towels are a nice consideration. Excellent AC throughout. Fit a bowl and bottled water are nice welcoming inclusion. The little balcony was great for an evening glass of wine before heading out to dinner. Not to Mention having a bathroom for each bedroom is a huge plus! Theano is a wonderful host - she clearly loves her casa, and her beautiful town. Great communication via WhatsApp throughout our stay. Helped with taxi transfers (Michalis & George were super reliable, friendly & affordable), and recommended a great laundromat. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on! Tip: you must eat at Marco Polo - reservations essential. Overall an excellent experience.

Cons: Just note the configuration of the casa is tight. Both bedrooms are generously sized with TV’s in each. But common areas are small. There’s a nice,but small, sitting area on the upstairs landing leading to the Juliette balcony, but no real living or lounging space outside the bedrooms.

Lovely base for exploring Rhodes town full of character very comfortable . Great host.

A brilliant 4 nights in a lovely house in a beautiful town.

Pros: We had a lovely welcome from the owner and lots of advice on where to get things (e.g. grocery stores), car rentals, restaurants, key sights and places to visit. The location was excellent for us (family of two adults and two kids aged 13 and 10), easy few minutes walk into the main part of the town, but peaceful and relaxing. The house was well cared for, clean and designed nicely. The facilities, features and amenities (e.g. kitchen, free wifi, nice balcony, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms) were all that we needed for a short stay (4 nights). We ate out every night and were out for most of the day visiting sights and enjoying the beautiful old town. The local information was very useful and we made full use of it. The restaurants were excellent choices for us and the atmosphere and service friendly, relaxing and polite. My wife and I would highly recommend Casa Theano. It exceeded our expectations!

Pros: We stayed here for 3 days in October, it's been beautifully renovated, right in the heart of the old town, a great location to use as a base to explore from. Theano the owner was so lovely and gave great advice on where to go. Would highly recommend.

Pros: Nice and cozy 2 bedroom apartment, 2 bathrooms, balcony. In the old city center with 5 mins walk to any place of the old town. You have everything you need for a stay, including small, but equipped kitchen.

Charming house with two great bedrooms and bathrooms. Friendly helpful host. Great location.

Pros: The location is great - in a quiet cul de sac away from the cruise tourists yet within easy walking distance of everything of interest in Rhodes Old Town. The interior is charming - a sympathetic renovation of a small 15th century house. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Theano, our host, was super responsive and very helpful and friendly. She arranged a taxi pick up from the airport and was at St John's Gate to meet us and show us the house.

Cons: We were aware from reading previous reviews that the communal areas are small but as we were out exploring the town and ate out this didn't matter.
