Fantastic getaway for our family
Pros: Stunning stay at this house set right by the beach. Fantastic sunrises to view from the house. My favourite part was the hammock from which to watch the sea. We arrived to find some aspects of the property had been given a fresh new look with new furnishings. The owner was very helpful when we needed to contact them.

The most relaxing, seaside break in years. Charming, local, friendly. Stegna beach is a real gem.
Pros: Exceptional location and the nicest ever hosts. Highly recommend. We didn’t want to leave. Stegna is a gem - only one big resort at the far end of the beach, the rest are houses, small apartments and local restaurants. So many wonderful dining options. Yes there are some cats (which we personally loved) but they didn‘t come inside and kept to themselves outside. The house itself is very clean and cozy and the kitchen was stocked with some basics and very functional. The Aircon was really effective. It has an old fashioned style that makes you feel at home immediately. The hosts left us the most massive watermelon we had ever seen (on arrival) and brought us a homecooked meal half way through our stay! It was such a lovely thing to do and so wonderful to enjoy local Greek meatballs on the terrace of this lovely little house.
Cons: Nothing. It’s perfect as it is.

Great location with amazing views
Pros: Great location and in walking distance to some beautiful restaurants. The beach is right in front of you and it’s a unique place to spent your holiday
Cons: Unfortunately there was cat hair everywhere. Wild cats live on the veranda which is normally not an issue but if you have a cat allergy it might be tricky. The house is very clean but the cat hair just gets everywhere.

Prachtige locatie op een rustig deel van Stegna, alles op loopafstand
Pros: Omdat we op 1e paasdag aankwamen, hadden ze de sleutel voor ons weggelegd. Veel opbergruimte, ruime keukeninventaris incl. magnetron en oven. 3 pers. slaapkamer is met dubbel bed in de hoogte en 1 persoonsbed eronder. Niet heel praktisch. Het huis is volledig (incl. parkeerplek) afgesloten. Elektrisch hek. Lekkere overdekte loungeplek incl. hangmat en ligstoelen met kussens. Wel veel katten, onze kinderen waren er dol op. Prachtige plek aan het rustige deel van Stegna. Veel gezellige restaurantjes en kleine supermarkt op loopafstand. Wel huurauto aan te raden om het eiland te verkennen. De weg van en naar Stegna is te voet voor gevorderde wandelaars wel te doen, maar met de auto is aan te raden.
Cons: gedateerd, maar wij vinden dat geen probleem.

Pros: Zuallererst waren wir von unseren Gastgeberinnen begeistert. Soviel Freundlichkeit und Engagement sind nicht selbstverständlich. Nicht nur, dass sie immer ansprechbar waren, lösten sie kleine Probleme sofort und völlig unkompliziert (defekte Kaffeemaschine/Stromausfall). Zum Wäschewechsel überraschten sie uns zudem auch noch mit selbstgemachten landestypischen Gerichten. Wir fühlten uns rundum wohl und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen. Das Haus hat die perfekte Strandlage und die kleine Straße zwischen Haus und Strand war, wie zunächst befürchtet, überhaupt nicht störend. Alles in allem hatten wir den perfekten erholsamen Urlaub, so wie wir es uns gewünscht hatten. Vielen Dank dafür nochmal an unsere tollen Gastgeberinnen.
Cons: Im Grunde genommen nichts ... im Gegensatz zu den Beurteilungen anderer Urlauber war uns klar, dass wir nicht in einem 5-Sterne-Haus einmieten und es dem Landesstandard entspricht. Das heißt, ja es gibt Ameisen, die man vermeiden kann, indem man Lebensmittel nicht rumstehen lässt und auch mal Insektenspray zum Einsatz bringt (alles nicht so wild) und ja, die Möblierung ist nicht brandneu. Es ist aber alles ordentlich, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet, u. a. sogar mit dem Luxus einer Waschmaschine und eines Geschirrspülers. Jammern auf hohem Niveau wäre an dieser Stelle, dass wir uns vielleicht noch einen Toaster gewünscht hätten. Einzig der Wasserablauf der Dusche (Bodenablauf lief regelmäßig im Bad über) ist nicht so toll, aber war schnell aufgewischt und trocknete schnell. Auch hier ... alles halb so wild!

Lovely little house on the beach.
Pros: The location is amazing. right on the beach, and there are shops a few minutes away. Everything in Rhodes was close enough (less than an hour drive). The patio is lovely with hammocks, sun beds and an outdoor shower. The air-conditioning was excellent and kept the house cool on the hottest days. The host was very responsive, answered every question and even stopped by to share some delicious home cooking with us.
Cons: There are lots of ants, outdoor and Indoor. Nothing can be left out and they are still crawling around everywhere. The Kitchen was missing some things to be used regularly that we had to buy (kitchen towels, sponge to wash dishes). The kitchen is otherwise equipped but the appliances are not the cleanest. There are cats living on the patio regularly as well.
