Ioli's Apartments

Pros: The apartment has a stunning environment, even better than what we expected. Unbothered view to the sea from the terrace, surrounded by cats and goats. The house is fully equipped, highly recommended for longer stays as well. Own dedicated parking spot, AC in both premises, kitchen supply covering all possible needs. The outside shower facility was really refreshing after the hot days. The owners are incredibly kind, we received a home-made moussaka and also souvenirs that will remind us this great holiday we hade.

Nice and quiet place above Stegna

Pros: If you have a car and love isolated quiet places, this is for you. Located 5min by car from Stegna (up the hill), 15min by walk, just a few houses, a small village with goats and olive trees. 2 separate rooms/units, each with a tiny bath and one with the main kitchen unit. Self check-in with clear instructions, no time limit to arrive. We got some nice surprises from time to time (food, presents, etc), when we reported some problems we got a reply immediately. The view is fantastic and the quietness is priceless. For the price I could not expect better, we enjoyed our stay. Oh, we had some lovely cats as well who came every day and made us company.

Cons: Parking is not easy on the designated parking place (steep and narrow). If you're not an experienced driver, leave the car 50m up the road at the restaurant. We parked there once, but then just left the car up at the restaurant, it was easier for us.

Wonderful view and Greek home atmosphere. Very nice hosts.

Pros: The view from the terrace, the open-air shower, and the friendly hosts made our stay wonderful. The hosts were flexible with check-in and check-out times, treated us to a delicious homemade Greek dish, Moussaka, and even left some souvenirs for us to take home.

Cons: We enjoyed having goats and cats around as they added to the atmosphere. However, the animals are active early in the morning. For those who are light sleepers, consider bringing earplugs :)

We enjoyed our stay and we will come back next year!

Pros: Stunning view. Cosy little place with a lovely feel to it. Attention to details and nicely stocked with useful bits and pieces. It's a little dream. I didn't want to leave. It has a washing machine which is useful if you're travelling. Goats roam free. Nice cool mountain breeze and attractive patio seating area. Beautifully kept. Barbecue possible. Taverna two minutes away.

Cons: Not great if you don't drive. No shops and just the one taverna which was pleasant enough. I was very lucky to get a lift both ways but otherwise think I would have struggled. There are two units. As a solo traveller I was given keys for only one. The inferior one. Which was pretty annoying. I thought I'd paid for the whole thing. It's just as well I was alone.

Pros: The location, close to the ocean, next to a delicious restaurant with the nicest staff. Quite and private with a pretty view, simply perfect

Magnificent sea view.

Pros: Perfectly equipped little house, beautiful view from the terrace. The oranges and lemons from the host's garden were very tasty. Very close to the beach (by car). The big seafood restaurant at the beach is excellent too.

Cons: The railing on the terrace was a bit high, blocks some of the view for people with small height while sitting.

Lovely place to stay amazing views well equipped and great hosts

Pros: A lovely quiet place to stay the only noise you hear are from the goats that wander past and the gentle noise of the stream, surrounded by trees but lovely view of sea, equipped with everything you could need , taverna within short walking distance which is used by locals as well. Hosts are very nice and friendly and any messages were responded to straight away. Its the second time we have stayed here and would do so again. Thank you very much

A beautiful old style cottage in working olive and citrus orchards

Pros: This is old Greece at its best; the cottage is beautiful , it has an old country atmosphere but with all the modern conveniences needed. The location is beautiful and rural and quiet, far from crowds. The hosts provided for every comfort possible.

Cons: We loved everything about the property. (We are concerned about the plastic pollution on the islands and local beaches and feel that the municipalities should help the locals with this problem. Ban plastic?)
