Hungary 🇭🇺

Great quiet laid-back economical place to stay.

Pros: This is a place we would recommend! The owners are great. It was a quiet peaceful place from which to explore the island! The room was a simple spacious one with pretty good beds and a fridge and outside a terrace. It was very close to the ocean and had lounge chairs we could take to the beach (just across a quiet street). I would recommend this to anyone who is perhaps renting a car and looking for a well priced place to stay away from the crowds and noise. The breakfast was the same every day, but nonetheless we enjoyed it. The restaurant has mid-priced very tasty dishes and we ate dinner there almost every day. We would have been happy to stay longer. Oh, and I slept very well, got in lots of swimming and if we walked up down the beach we were able to find spots where there was only my wife and I, just a couple hundred metres from the main beach area.

Cons: We had no problems really. The room was only cleaned once during the week, but I'm sure I could have asked for fresh towels sheets etc. Things get sandy fast so near the beach. And maybe there could have been greater variation in the breakfast. But again, these are more suggestions than problems.

Far from the maddening crowds! Stunning sunsets and lovely beach across the very quiet road.

Pros: Home from home, peaceful and uncomplicated. Very relaxing and not the usual holiday resort but great place to stay. There are sun-loungers to take to the beach to enjoy

Cons: Fine for us nothing to dislike. Perhaps a bit windy but hey, who can control that? Might want to hire a car if you don’t want to use the 3 euro bus ride to the city!

have a very, very good rest

Pros: I always choose the place of hotels. To Akrogiali was perfect for our needs, a quiet location right by the beach. The hotel is small. The room has a comfortable bed, good wf. Sincere hosts. Thank you - we had a great rest. I recommend it to everyone who kites, who loves the sea.

We have enjoyed our time there.

Pros: Small, family run business situated literally across a quiet street from the beach, ideal for kite surfing or just chilling. The included breakfast offers a good variety and lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks are available throughout. The food is lovely and always freshly cooked, the owners are very friendly and happy to go the extra mile. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Spędziliśmy w tym hotelu wspaniały czas! 🌴✨ Panuje tu cudowna atmosfera – właściciele są niezwykle mili i pomocni, zawsze uśmiechnięci i gotowi doradzić, co warto zobaczyć na Rodos. Pokoje czyste i przytulne, a jedzenie naprawdę pyszne – świeże i różnorodne, każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Idealne miejsce, żeby odpocząć i poczuć prawdziwą grecką gościnność. Serdecznie polecamy i z chęcią wrócimy! 💙🇬🇷

Super freundlich und gut zum Kitesurfen

Pros: Im To Akrogiali haben wir uns bei unserem 17-tägigen sehr wohl gefühlt, insbesondere weil Agapitos und sein Team sehr kundenorientiert und herzlich sind und man als Zimmer Gast frei ist ob man bei ihm (sehr empfehlenswert) oder bei umliegenden Restaurants etwas konsumieren möchte. Die Unterkunft ist für Kitesurfende ideal, weil man im Zimmer, auf dem Balkon oder auf der Restaurant Terrasse mit Meerblick verweilen (brettspielen, lesen, im guten Internet surfen, ...) kann und wenige Minuten nachdem die Windmesswerte in die höhe schnellen auf dem Wasser sein kann. Good to know: Fürs Kitesurfen muss man sich bei einer der beiden umliegenden Kiteclubs einschreiben und die Start- und Storagegebühren bezahlen.

Pros: spokojne miejscu tuż przy plaży i tawerny. Bardzo miła obsługa. Moja prośba o czajnik została spełniona już następnego dnia rano, dziękuję.

Cons: Ocena byłaby na 10, ale wymeldowanie na bookingu było o godzinie 12. O godzinie 11 zostaliśmy poinformowani że mamy natychmiast się wynieść bo już czekają nowi lokatorzy. Mieliśmy w planach kiedyś tam wrócić, ale przez takie zachowanie usunąłem z ulubionych. Proponuję też, aby uzupełnić pokoje o czajniki, Odwiedzam ponad 20 rocznie hoteli czy pensjonatów i w każdym to podstawa. Bez względu an kraj.
