Symi Uptown Indigo

Pros: This is an awesome traditional place to stay high up in Chorio. Not the easiest place to find. But that is part of the charm. The room/studio is cute and has a great smell of wood when you first enter. It isn't the biggest room/studio. But is well worth it for the price. The owner was always very quick to respond to my questions. 10/10!

Cons: It doesn't get pitch black in the room at night. Maybe darker curtains?

If you're looking for a week of calm, this is the perfect place to be.

Pros: The villa and gardens were beautiful. Very comfortable and contained all the essentials. The decor was lovely and I was very happy staying there. A very tranquil place. The bed was comfortable, although be aware the stairs up to the bedroom are quite narrow & can be a little slippy if you're not going carefully! To any future guests - put a pin in Maps the first time you leave the property! The village is full of winding pathways and it is easy to get lost! Although I had someone meet me and take me to the property, he was very fast and I found it difficult to take it in. Most importantly, communication with Ioannis, the host, was excellent and he responded promptly and helpfully to all questions. The property is within walking distance of a small supermarket and a couple of tavernas: Niki's in particular, is superb.

Cons: The only thing I really felt was missing was a shower holder. You need to hold the shower head and in the small space, this sometimes caused water to flow out of the shower if you weren't standing in the right place. Not the easiest place to reach initially, but worth it!

Good value for money, you need to rent a bike or a car to access the room

Pros: Very cute tiny studio - fully equipped with a super comfortable bed. It had washing machine and a small kitchen which i found amazing! Also there were games and books! The owner is a very helpful and quick in response!

Cons: The only thing that was a bit challenging was the location

Pros: The traditional comfort of the room, decoration, and the cooking equipment included.

Cons: Nothing, everything was fairly provided given the beautiful style of the room.

Amazing stay in Symi.

Pros: Very nice host, quick response time, nice quiet environment, spacious room, very clean, amazing well kept garden. I would completely recommend it for a peaceful stay! Tavernas and Cafes within walking distance - 3 to 5 minutes. Into town a 15 minute walk or a 5 min bus trip. Everything felt very homy- would come back!

Cons: The house is in a very quiet area which is great but its not accesible by car. 5 minute walk to the nearest bus station which is not a problem but good thing to keep in mind as you have to walk up/down with luggage. Very doable but maybe not recommended for older people.

Pros: I love this place as it really reflects the real Symi experience.Even though it is a bit hilly like entire Symi, it is easy to connect through the frequent local bus.Ioannis also was an amazing host since the first second providing all necessary information and being helpful a lot.Highly recommend this beautiful, clean and extraordinary property.

Pros: Great feel and flair to it, almost everything we needed was there and the host and stuff were exceptional and really helpful as well. You could reach them in seconds if needed. It was fully equipped, the internet was strong, and the air con worked great. Really cozy place which elevated our vacation massively. Even though It's pretty high up, in about 5 minutes by foot there are multiple stores coffee groceries bakery etc. so the location is quite good its just a lot of stairs if you want to do harbor-hotel on foot-but there is a bus as well. Can only recommend!

Cons: Missing a full body mirror, but that's not a bad thing, just info

Pros: Very nice apartment, nicely furnished with full cooking facilities if required and a good bathroom with shower. Nice garden and patio. Owner sorted out free transfer from the port to the apartment on arrival. He was also in contact by email to advise on places to go and to answer any questions we had. You do need to be reasonably fit to get to the apartment as it is located up the hill from Symi centre although there is the local bus that takes you most of the way to the apartment

Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Nice little place in Symi. Very comfy and quite good amenities for the size.

Cons: Like stated by others, it is quite a trek to get up to, and if you do not have active maps on your phone you will likely get lost quite easily.
