Al Mare Apartments

It was perfect in every way ☺️

Pros: The apartment was immaculate. The garden was lovely.I had my own kitchen area to prepare my food. I sat on my balcony and ate watching the beautiful sea and listening to the waves.Everyone was very friendly and kind. There was a lovely cafe in the garden too.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.

Recommended place for peacefullness and relaxation

Pros: We had an amazing week in Rhodes staying at Al Mare apartments. We loved the location and that it was so secluded and so close to the sea and all and we used it as a base to explore the whole island. We did have a car though and I think it is needed for this property. Amazing and welcoming stuff and prepared some lovely greek salads for us for lunch once!

Cons: The bed was on the harder side to my liking but didn't stop me from fully relaxing and having a good night sleep.

Great location away from the busier areas. Family run with traditional Greek hospitality.

Pros: Lovely spacious property facing Afandou beach with open garden area and restaurant bar. Looks so pretty at night.

Cons: The mattresses were a little too thin and uncomfortable.

Pros: The hotel sits on well cared for land/garden and gives a feeling of spaciousness and calm because you are not surrounded by other buildings or hotels. The beach is across the road and also very nearby are free sunbeds. The hotel cafe is a lovely place to sit and look across the sea to the horizon, and they do good drinks and omelette and baguettes if you want breakfast or a snack or a cocktail. The apartment was as described. The bathroom and room were big enough to avoid feeling cramped and certainly larger than some other places we've stayed. (Dish detergent and hand soap are provided but not shower products or hair dryer or iron.) The hosts were friendly and helpful.

Cons: The trade-off for the peace and quiet and being at the beach is that you will need a car to go places. It's a bit too far to walk into the nearby village/shops etc. Taxis are not interested in these short rides and refuse to come, or if they do, they charge exorbitant prices.

Pros: Amazing place, quiet, beautiful, high esthetic complex on the sea first line! The rooms with the sea view, with mini-kitchen, so we could cook, beautiful garden with bar and bistro, the snacks were very delicious. George, the master, is very kind and supportive, he carried everything for we would feel comfortable, the staff is friendly and kind too. The beach is long, with the sunbeds, the sea very clean and warm. Nearby is the fish restaurant To Fresko with amazing fresh grilled fish and other seafood, and tavern Camara Seaside Memories with delightful musaka. Highly recommended!

Pros: This is exactly what I was looking for. A nice small relaxed property on a quiet corner of the beach, away from the crowded towns and resorts. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. And the grounds are very pretty. While the beach in front isn't the prettiest I've seen, the water is clear, calm and perfect. And the beach is mostly sand in front of the property, when pebble beaches are more common in Rhodes. It's 30 mins from Rhodes town and Lindos, so convenient for day trips. But there's also a handful of restaurants and beach bars within short walking distance, as well as food and drink on site. If you want a quiet relaxing beach place, away from it all, this is your place. Would definitely stay again.

Cons: WiFi could be a bit stronger in the rooms, as cell reception isn't great here

A quiet paradise on the beach

Pros: Al Mare apartments are a quiet paradise directly on the beach. During our first stay, we fell in love with the place and its people and became regulars, coming back every year. The apartments are comfortable, quiet, with balconies that offer lovely seaview over a immaculate garden full of flower and trees.

Pros: We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful place — the vacation was simply amazing! Everything was absolutely perfect — cozy accommodation, very clean and comfortable rooms, a lovely and well-maintained area, and warm, welcoming hosts — a wonderful Greek family. There’s a bar with delicious cocktails by Mr. George, tasty fresh food, and the location is ideal. The sea is just a few steps away, with warm and crystal-clear water. We’ll definitely come back with friends. Huge thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Small peace of heaven

Pros: A perfect location to explore the island. A small peace of heaven by the sea side Sea view, shade in the afternoon on the balcony, a bar with food downstairs. They clean every two days and give you fresh towels. Staff is extremely kind and helpful. We all loved it.

Pros: Amazing owners family! Always helpfull and welcoming...
